...hing": when one station is searching, other is waiting. In few seconds(5..15) first stops and other starts. With more clients , results are worse, but not lineary! It looks like that client software don't get "approve" for some action from samba. Client OS were: win95, win95OSR, msdosclient - all tested in different cfgs. Looks like a samba bug/feature because with the same client base, changing server to novell/NT/win9x(!) helped ot once. I tried ***many*** settings in smb.conf, even as weird as oplock contention limit (and many many more) but WITH NO RESULTS. Any help appreciated...
