How to get rid of misspelled DNA entry?
Dear list,
I have a strange problem. In RSAT is had a typo when
adding a reverse lookup entry, i.e. I added something
like "host.samdo.com" instead of "host.samdom.com".
No a reverse lookup yields to entries, the correct one
and the misspelled one. :-(
Deleting it in RSAT is impossible, as the misspelled
entry doesn't show up here. Deleting in by samba-tool

From the log fragment, you seem to be using '.local' (unless this is
sanitisation) if so what is the 'hosts' line in /etc/hosts ? does it
reference msdns, if it does, removing this may fix your problem.

How to get rid of misspelled DNA entry?
Hi,
I found a way to delete these ghost entries. All you need is an LDAP
tool like Apache Directory Studio. Then you connect via LDAP to the AD.
Inside the LDAP tree is a subtree named msdns (or similiar, I'm not able
to access my workstation at the moment). There you can find the buggy
entry and delete it. Before deleting something it's perhaps a good idea
to make a backup of the samba configuration, especially the files under
/var/lib/samba/private/sam.ldb.d where the configu...

related to how my company's directory was setup and I can't change that.
Here are the information for the AD:
Realm: WIN-NET.DOMAIN.COM.BR
DNS Domain: domain.com.br
Servers: server.domain.com.br, server1.domain.com.br
NOTE: DNS servers are not in the MSDNS server. And there is no DNS
domain related to the realm WIN-NET.DOMAIN.COM.BR, only domain.com.br.
Here is my krb5.conf

.local is correct. the xxxx is the sanitation
What changed was that a stinkin' Western Digital SATA hard drive did not
support hot swap, corrupted my os, and I had to reinstall Fedora 26.

Resolv.conf being overwritten
I am trying to add 127.0.0.1 to my resolv.conf. I added it through the
system-config-network but if I reboot, its gone. I do not have the caching
nameserver package installed. My ISP's nameservers are there. It must have
something to do with DHCP.
Also, in the network config GUI, should I select the IPv6 option for either
or both network cards?
TIA
