Moveable Type import question.
...9;,
I''ve just started my first project with ROR, and frankly it''s pretty
amazing, there are many things that still haven''t "clicked" for me yet
but essentially it''s all coming together.
My first project is a basic blog application to replace a current
Moveable Type based blog. I''ve managed to get the basic functionality
working, and considering that I''m learning as I go this has happened
very quickly, now I want to import my old posts from Moveable Type and
I''m a bit stuck. The MT format is non standard and there are a lot of

How 37s affects Rails
Ok, no one has said it yet so I will.

MHTL + legal <- dual-booting <- Re: installing Cents os server 7.0
...o that with Windows software or at least
separately from a no-brain-required Linux install program.
Just to respond to one objection in advance (because I'm not going to be
drawn into this thread anymore than I have), years ago, in the early
days of dual-boot, Windows put a critical and non-moveable file at the
end of their partition. This made blithely shrinking that partition
either impossible or dangerous-- so quite risky. And to me and everyone
I knew there seemed to be no reason at all for this file being where and
how it was, except to make shrinking the partition difficult. If yo...

generic onDragStart onDrag and onDragFinish events extracted from scriptaculous?
Hi folks.
I''m working on a project where I need some drag and drop, but I need to
implement what happens in a very different way, so I''m creating my own class
for it. I don''t want to reinvent the wheel and redo Thomas'' excellent
drag/drop functionality, nor do I want to copy/paste his code over into mine.
So, I was wondering, has anyone tried to extract

unexpected async reply (sequence 0x20fb)! UPDATE
...PageMaker at startup does
CreateFont
SelectObject
GetTextMetrics
for every font returned to it by EnumFonts.
I don't know, what component has become the crucial part of success: a more powerful
machine or XFree 4.0.2. On the first computer while PageMaker enumerates fonts, even
mouse is not moveable, and sometimes (approximately every 4th run) PageMaker is able
to finish its startup.

OT: Asterisk and Mambo - help wanted
Hello everyone,
So, this isn't exactly what it seems. I am not looking to integrate
Asterisk and Mambo. I am the maintainer/creator of AstLinux, and I have
recently decided that I should really have a better web site for it. I
would like to use Mambo so that I can do updates easily, from anywhere,
without having to waste time learning PHP/HTML/etc. Mambo CMS seems the
best and most

...the mapped area:

This is most likely because your handling of those buffers produces
conflicting mappings (if my understanding of what you are doing is
right).
At first you allocate memory from CMA without changing the pgprot flags.
This yields pages which are mapped uncached or cached (when moveable
pages are purged from CMA to make space for your buffer) into the
kernels linear space.
Later you regard this memory as iomem (it isn't!) and let TTM remap
those pages into the vmalloc area with pgprot set to writecombined.
I don't know exactly why this is causing havoc, but having two

Unbootable system recovery
I have just recently (physically) moved a system with 16 hard drives (for the array) and 1 OS drive; and in doing so, I needed to pull out the 16 drives so that it would be light enough for me to lift.
When I plugged the drives back in, initially, it went into a panic-reboot loop. After doing some digging, I deleted the file /etc/zfs/zpool.cache.
When I try to import the pool using the zpool

printing through netbios alias
Hi,
We are trying to set up a print server for our Windows domain on Samba
2.2.2 and Red Hat 7.1. It was decided to use a netbios alias for the
print server so that it would be easier to move in the future if the
need arised. From now on the actual netbios name will be reffered to as
"server" and the alias as "alias". This solution has worked well on
Win9x clients, however
