Different passwords for each mountpoint
Something I'd be interested in setting up is specific passwords for each moutpoint. Maybe this functionality exists somewhere already and I just haven't found out how to activate it yet. All I've seen is one encoder password per icecast server instead of one password per moutpoint. If I've missed something, please point me in the right direction. If I haven't, may I ask if

Running 2 port streams on a windows Server
Doc- Even easier than that. Icecast supports moutpoints. This means you can use the same port for multiple streams. Just give each stream a different mountpoint (name). e.g. http://123.45.67.8:8000/stream1 <http://123.45.67.8:8000/stream1> http://123.45.67.8:8000/stream2 <http://123.45.67.8:8000/stream2> -greg. -----Original Mes...

can icecast server be a source for another icecast?
Hi, I've strange situation: I need to connect to icecast server (A) as a source from another icecast server (B) and preserve metadata (artist and title). Of course I can do something like: curl -s http://A_address/radio.mp3 | ices -v -c B_configuration.xml but in this way all metadata are lost. Is it possible to do this without hacking the code? Best regards paluh
