mountpoint fallback support
...ing at the CVS nightly build of the icecast2\src\source.c and see that the mountpoint fallback is now implemented (compared to the 2.0.0 release's source.c) I was hoping to use this feature to support a multi-home radio station that has a master mountpoint stream and offsite "guest" mountpoints. These guest mountpoints would attach on a scheduled based and, theoretically, the main mountpoint would stop broadcasting so the guest mountpoint would take over. Then, when the main mountpoint would want to regain control, start it's stream back up and a switchover from the fallover to the...

If I understand your question correctly, then the 'mountpoints' command lists what is mounted, eg: $ guestfish -c qemu:///system -d F16x64 -i --ro Welcome to guestfish, the libguestfs filesystem interactive shell for editing virtual machine filesystems. Type: 'help' for help on commands 'man' to read the manual...

Mountpoints
I've been thinking about mountpoints recently. There have been a few problems related to them: - If dbox mails and indexes are in different filesystems, and index fs isn't mounted and mailbox is accessed -> Dovecot rebuilds indexes from scratch, which changes UIDVALIDITY, which causes client to redownload mails. All mails wil...

switch a source, idea?
hi there, let's say I have a mountpoint /important with a source a, and a mountpoint /notimportant with source b now I have to switch source a and b so that the content of source b plays on mountpoint /important mountpoint /notimportant is, well, not so important of course I can do it manually, but I wonder if there is a trick to accomplish that programmatically or within icecast. ideas

Problem with the use of domfsfreeze mountpoint option
Hi everybody, I am having a problem with the use of domfsfreeze command. It is freezing all the filesystems present on the domain, instead of freezing just the mountpoints provided. I am issuing the command-- # virsh domfsfreeze <domain> --mountpoint <mountpoint> Output was-- Froze 3 filesystem(s) I want to freeze a particular mount point on the VM, so that i can take a snapshot using my own snapshot feature. dovecot 2.0.2 compile issues on Solaris 10u8 Sparc
I am having compile problems with Dovecot v2.0.2 on a well patched Solaris 10u8 Sparc system using the included gcc compiler. Version 2.0.0 compiled with out any issues using the same configure syntax. My ./configure syntax looks like this: ./configure --with-ssl=openssl --with-shadow Yahoo and Google searches turned up nothing for me. Reviewing the file mountpoint.c between version 2.0.0

Different password for every mountpoint
Hi guys , I have a little doubt: It's possible with the last version of icecast2 to set a diffferent password for every mountpoint different from the server's password? Becasue I want to manage the access to the server for every mountpoint and without give the server's password. Another question it's if I do some changes on the icecast.xml configuration , and later restart

SUMMARY: mounting datasets from a read-only pool with aid of tmpfs
...imilar situations. To cut the long story short, I could not properly mount some datasets from a readonly pool, which had a non-"legacy" mountpoint attribute value set, but the mountpoint was not available (directory absent or not empty). In this case I could neither create/cleanup the mountpoints, nor change the dataset properties to mountpoint=legacy. After a while I managed to override a higher-level point in the FS tree by mounting tmpfs over it, and in that tmpfs I could make the mountpoints needed by zfs. I don''t want to claim this adventure as a bug (because in this c...

Tracking bandwidth used of individual mountpoints?
Is it possible to somehow meter and log the bandwidth used by individual mountpoints? I'm using mrtg to monitor the whole server, but I'd like to know which mountpoints are creating the most traffic so I can offer better-priced streaming packages to users who really aren't using all that much bandwidth. And also to be able to charge more for users who use way much more...

Forcing ZFS options
There are times when ZFS options can not be applied at the moment, i.e. changing desired mountpoints of active filesystems (or setting a mountpoint over a filesystem location that is currently not empty). Such attempts now bail out with messages like: cannot unmount ''/var/adm'': Device busy cannot mount ''/export'': directory is not empty and such. Is it possibl...

Also, have you looked at the stats page for the server? Can't remember what it is - list.cgi maybe? It should list all the connected mount point...

icecast2 mountpoints maximum
...tion we've developed. The idea behind the system is that each individual client gets it's own mountpoint. Basically we have an application that creates streams. Its written in c++ and uses libshout to handle connecting to icecast. Everything works fine, as long as we keep the number of mountpoints below 347. As soon as we try to create more mountpoints, it stops, as in, it never returns a mountpoint. in our application, we create a new mountpoint by doing: shout = shout_new() this never returns after the 347th stream, so our application waits indefinatly for icecast to return a mountpo...
