Building factors across two columns, is this possible?
I am trying to make it so two columns with similar data use the same internal numbers for same factors, here is the example:

2 stars moon sun
3 cat dog catdog
4 dog moon sun
5 bird plane superman

Not able to invoke swat
Hi
I have configured samba (version 2.2.7a) on Linux 9. Now I am facing a
problem like
I am able to invoke the swat in the local machine (http://localhost:901
<http://localhost:901/> ), But I am not able to invoke the swat from
other machine.
Let us consider
Localhost name is moon (linux machine)
Another machine is mars (Win 2k)
I am able to invoke swat from http://moon:901 <http://moon:901/> but I
am not able to invoke from mars.
If I put http://moon:901 <http://moon:901/> from the mars web browser I
am getting the error "page cannot be displayed&...

Domain problem with NT4 & Samba 3.0.2a

status is that I've got the daemons running and working normally. I
have 1 desktop with 1 PDC & 1 BDC in the SIERRA domain. On the desktop,
I can see both DC's but not the samba server. As a non-priviledged
account, when I issue a smbclient -L moon I get the following output:

lunar notation in crontab
Crontab offers many refined facilities for Western calendaring, but none
for traditional Eastern-- lunar-- designations. So for example, if one
wants specify regular occurring events on full moons or on new moons,
there is no way to do this. Emacs (a text processor!?) accomplishes
this. The math for calculating lunar calendaring is already available;
mathematical functions are already available for simple downloading and
so would need simply integration into crond.

Distance matrix in SpDep-package
...etermining the distance itself by the
function dnearneigh based on x-y coordinates. Or is there another package
that can transform a distance matrix into "fake" x-y coordinates, so that
the SpDep-package can work with it?
Thank you very much for your answer.
Kind regards,

ogg "chapters"?
i'm thinking about albums like "dark side of the moon" and also live bands
(especially live-pa) and DJs where there's a continuous flow from one song
to the next...
i could use a MKV file with vorbis or mp3 and include a chapter listing
[with named chapters], that would allow listening to the whole thing with
no skipping between songs. a...

sieve match ANY header
I would like to create a sieve rule where I do a regex match on ALL
headers, not a specific header. I've been trying to find out the proper
syntax, but haven't found anything.
Is this possible, and if so, how do I write it?
Thanks,
Shawn

what was supposed to be so special about a full moon? It was only a big
circle of light. And the dark of the moon was only darkness. But
half-way between the two, when the moon was between the worlds of light
and dark, when even the moon lived on the edge... maybe then a witch
could believe in the moon. --Witches Abroad

Can anyone help me with this issue? The shape file in itself is not so large (only a province was taken instead of the entire file of Belgium because of memory issues), only 8.11Mb.
Thanks in advance!

have seen other file formats (specifically one proprietary audio book
