Wireless Production Servers Authentication of Active Directory with Inconsistent NTLM Auth Failures
Hi I work for a medium sized University and have recently set up some new infrastructure to authenticate our wireless users of Active Directory. Every thing was working as expected or so I thought. I set up a monitoring script that performs an ntlm_auth every minute and it shows that the authentication is failing inconsistently but for around 5 minutes at a time (see below). There are two development servers that I am trialling different configurations with to test. The architecture is currently 5 RHEL5...

problem with loop to put data into array with missing data for some files
Dear R-help community, My main goal of this message is to find a way of skipping a file of a month/year in a loop that does not exist (and making it's output into an data.out array would be NA) and moving onto the next year/month in the loop to carry on filling data.out with real precipitation data. The situation so far: I downloaded 50 years worth of GRIB data files from the NCEP dat...

Assigning Week Numbers
R experts, How could I extract the week number from a date vector (in Date class) such that week numbering (week 1...2...) begins (May 01) and ends (October 31) on the same specific dates each year? Week numbering must conform to the following day numbering format (Sat=1,Sun=2,Mon=3.....Fri=7). This means that new weeks must begin on Saturdays, and end on Fridays (except for the first date of May 01, which always begins week 1; week 2 begins on the proceeding Saturday). This needs to be applicable across years to work effectively. I have tried using both vectorized and lo...
