PXE/NFS looks for CDROM when starting a recovery
Hello all! I try mondo/mindi for some days now but it does not work and I don't know the reason. It is an intel Suse-8.0 Client and I use the Suse-8.0 packages from ftp.mondorescue.org. dhcp and tftp work fine. mondoarchive works, but I don't find any initrd.img for pxe/nfs. All initrd I have found ask for a CDROM and as they cannot find any they ask for a floppy when starting the pxe recovery. Isn't it possible to recover by using pxe/nfs only ? It's already packaged for debian, madrake,...

CentOS 7 cloned VM cannot boot
...ch is the reported device (on image -04) that remains unrecognized? I looked into /boot/grub/grub2.cfg but I didn't see any such UUID there. Where may it be referenced to be used during the boot process? Note: I never have such issues when restoring (using mondorestore) CentOS 5 or CentOS 6 mondoarchive backups (even on dissimilar virtual hardware). Can you please help me identify the problem, based on the above info, and make the VM normally bootable? Many thanks, Nick

How to dump/restore a CentOS 7 system
Hello All, I guess it is very common for administrative purpose, to dump and restore a CentOS 7 system. I usually use dump/restore commands. However, I?m having trouble to handle installing bootloader and creating initramfs for C7 system. Does anyone know a good document source that details those procedure? Thank you, Xinhuan Zheng
