TC HTB Traffic Shaping
Hi guys, I''m new to TC HTB traffic shaping.... I installed it at my first try on my Bearing Leaf Router/Firewall I use the tc -s class show dev eth? To see my output All looks dandy and nice, but it''s figures, of which at current momment looks like French to me, I would like to see exactly what these figures looks like in a GRAPH style... I know I can use MRTG, I do have some litte expience in it.. But I need to figure out, what will be THE TARGET to caputre to output via the VARIOIUS class from HTB.... If Mrtg, is not the best...

changing samba share permissions using windows NT computers
...up samba so that Windows NT/2000 machines can change the file or folder permissions on a samba share? I read in the documentation that this is possible, but trying the method described in the manual, I cannot even find a permissions tab when I right click,properties. I am running samba 2.0.7 at the momment, as well, the box is part of a windows NT domain. Hi If I have a HTB class with 128kbit, and I want to put "N" users in that class ( in order to share bandwidth fairly ) , which is better for me ? esfq (hash dst) or wrr ? Problem with 16-in-1 card reader
My new PC has an internal 16-in-1 card reader connected via USB 2.0. The device is the Techsolo TCR-1640 (http://www.techsolo.de/product/cardreader/tcr_1640/index.php). I boot from a compact flash inserted in it and I can mount and unmount the same CF once the system has booted and has mounted the root partition from my graid3 array.
