bison/flex version warning

My bison is this: bison (GNU Bison) 1.875c (Which appears to be ancient
because the s/f link above shows the 2.5.31 flex archive date as
2003-03-31).
What's the risk of ignoring this warning?
Rhetorical question: why is CentOS using a moldy old flex/bison package?

(S|odf)weave : how to intersperse (\LaTeX{}|odf) comments in source code ? Delayed R evaluation ?

There seems to be no way to delay R evaluation of a R chunk passed by
Sweave ; at least, the "eval=FALSE" option of chunk declaration is not
sufficient for that.
Am I missing something in the Sweave nd odfWeve documentations (that I
read till I grew green and moldy) ? Or does this require a fundamental
change in the relevant Sweave drivers ?
Can you suggest alternative ways of doing what I mean to do ? The only
workaround I found is to paste a second copy of my code in a \verbatim
environment (or, in the case of odfWeave, in the "text" part), an...

Puppet agent hostname/domain change
Hi Everybody,
I have a puppet setup working, but run into issue, which couldn''t figure
out how to solve.
Say I have puppet agent generated certificate and signed it on puppet
master. If somehow puppet agent''s hostname has been changed it will stop
