Extracting correlation in a nlme model

[LLVMdev] [lld] LLD's software architecture
Hi, I'm analysing the LLD code structure (aka architecture) and am trying to mold it into a component model. Currently I see 4 components: - Driver - ReaderWriter - Passes - Core I wonder if this is the order that they're supposed to be in, since there are also code dependencies upwards from: Core -> ReaderWriter Passes -> ReaderWriter ReaderWriter -> Driver...

[LLVMdev] PassManager
...s are processed in. This allows pipelining of a function through multiple function passes before the next function is processed. If each functionpass could define its own iteration order, this wouldn't work. Note that no generality is lost here: passes that don't fit the FunctionPass mold can be made into ModulePasses. The LoopPassManager is the same thing. The idea is that the LPM provides structured iteration among loop pass classes. I believe that most loop transformations will fit into the framework, and will thus enjoy the benefits of it. Those that don't can alway b...

I didn't know that a rewrite is still needed on the current tool set and granted Stream can help with this, but I hardly think that it's necessary and the tool set can always be tested against the current release (8.2) f...

RubyODBC bus error under Rails
Hi all, I''ve got a very obscure problem. We''re trying to get Rails to talk to Filemaker. So we''ve setup an ODBC dsn and via RubyODBC we''re talking to it. Excellent. Try it under rails and rails won''t even startup, getting bus errors anytime we require ''odbc''. Environment OSX Tiger 10.4.6 Rails 1.1.2 Ruby 1.8.4 RubyODBC 0.998 via

[RFC] One or many git repositories?
...here things happen to be top-level because at one point we wanted the ability to not check out those Subversion repos, and now that has been enshrined. I'm not actually arguing that #2 is a *good* layout. But I think it is a (slightly) less arbitrary layout than #1. And by breaking this weird mold of "all Subversion projects are top level", I think we'll be in a better place to make reasonably and considered decisions about re-structuring the layout long-term to reflect a useful and rational layout based on some set of reasonable technical principles. It also has the advantage...

Show stopper - 2nd cry for help
.... So, I'm specifying the "interfaces" parameter and forcing the NetBIOS name to match it's internal, RFC1918, dns name. Those are the only differences. 4. The server that's giving me trouble is named IMAIL. 5. The server that works just fine, the PDC and WINS server, is named MOLD. 6. The NT Domain on MOLD is called WATDOM. 7. IMAIL is a member of WATDOM. 8. The W2K workstation trying to perform the file copies is called SEAN. 9. All machines are on one local subnet, using switched 100Mbps Ethernet. Very fast, no network or PC hardware problems. 10. In addition to using expl...

[PATCH 4/4] daemon: add split_lines_sb
Mold split_lines_sb from split_lines, so it returns the strings buffer with the result of the split. This way, we can have the number of lines in the array, with no need to count them again later. split_lines is rewritten to take the ownership of the result of split_lines_sb. --- daemon/daemon.h |...

The future of centos
...lace to tell others how to behave, this (lack of) response has me now looking for alternatives that are (maybe?) more reliable and responsive. Since I've transitioned to a user that just wants a reliable tool now, the 6.6 upgrade soured me big-time. Then having the bug report serve only to grow mold, rather than getting the (apparent) conflict twixt init, X, the (new?) init processes ... looked at is sealing my decision to find a more reliable desktop distribution. Blog article about the state of CentOS
.... 1. There is the work on the tools which were slapped together as an emergency from parts before 8.0. Those mbboxx tools are getting a rewrite and upgrade currently by the CPE team to make them more useful in the future. Stream only helps in that it is the excuse for that work to be done versus it molding and falling apart right after every 8.x release comes out. 2. There is the work that happens because various things are rebased and you need to figure out the HTF you get from build A to build A+1 by rebuilding N packages. That is work that Stream should help on because this is then knowledge is...

Partial Authentication in OpenSSH
...urity, there are some limitations of my patch compared to the original patch for pre-privilege separation OpenSSH. So my question is whether or not partial authentication is being actively developed, whether or not any developers on this list would be interested in seeing my patch and helping to mold it into something that can be used in a future OpenSSH version, and if there is any interest in partial authentication in general. Thanks in advance. Erik.

Provisioning fails - Codebase question
I'm trying to configure an SoC system as an AD DC on Ubuntu 18.04. I was successful on Ubuntu 16.04 a couple of years ago, and the script I used to configure the system from first boot to provisioned fails on 18.04 and 16.04. The failure is thus: Setting up self join set_nt_acl_no_snum: fset_nt_acl returned NT_STATUS_NOT_SUPPORTED. ERROR(runtime): uncaught exception - (-1073741637,
