help with unit indication when plotting
Dear all:
Is there any one could tell me how I can represent Micro-molar as an
unit of concentration when I plot with R(S-plus), I don't want write
'uM' from keyboard, I am thinking to write it like in word, in word,
people insert symbol for 'u' for uM. Am I clear? Thank you very much
for your consideration and help.

samba4 stopped working
...implementation of Samba, it fails the basic test:
# smbclient -L localhost -U%
Connection to localhost failed (Error NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_REFUSED)
The globals section of smb.conf is:
[global]
workgroup = DENTALOFFICE
realm = DENTALOFFICE.ROSSLAND.DENTAL
netbios name = MOLAR
server role = active directory domain controller
dns forwarder = 8.8.8.8
idmap_ldb:use rfc2307 = yes
allow dns updates = nonsecure
which explains why I can't get to the Debian servers. The hand off to
Google's DNS servers never happens.

I am trying to figure out the control parameter in "optim," especially,
"fnscale" and "parscale."
In the R docu.,

fnscale
An overall scaling to be applied to the value of fn and gr during
optimization. If negative, turns the problem into a maximization problem.

Literature analysis
Dear all,
i am new in R. I am writing a review paper about batteries. However, i
am interested in analyzing all the papers by keywords, author,
references and year.
This could be done by "refviz" a software, which is only running on
windows machines and which is not free.
So my question to you is, is it somehow possible to write a script that
can do all of this work?
And if yes, with
