Centos Kernel 4.7 Compile Help
Hello Everyone,
I wanted to recompile the kernel from source. I downloaded the
source rpm (kernel-2.6.9-78.0.1.EL.src.rpm) from centos and
installed the rpm. In /usr/src/redhat ? I unzipped and untar?d
the linuxx-2.6.9 base files. After doing that I wanted to patch
the kernel with the numerous patch files that came with the src
rpm.
The problem that I am having is that a lot of the patch

A Question on printer sharing
...nd it answers to
\\printfarm but what I haven't been able to figure out is how do I install
the print drivers on the samba server so that when someone connects to the
share it installs the driver for them. This worked in 2.0.6 release of
samba. Am I missing something?

Dell 1950 Perc 6/i with centos 4.5
...nstallation but
kickstart still doesn't see the raid controller. I've also used the
DRIVERDISK directive within kickstart but that didn't work either.
Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone have any suggestions on what I
might try next?

System goes into read only mode - not the same as posted earlier
...For system A ? remounting in ro mode didn?t work and the system had to be
rebooted. File system check and bad block checks showed nothing and when the
system was rebooted ? it was fine.
A portion of the messages log is below. I would appreciate any ideas or
directions.
