...s packaged for Debian in the
Unstable tree.
I believe I have configured everything correctly however when I login from a
Windows client it is creating the users profile under there home directory
rather than in the profile directory which is stored under their home
directory.
For example for user mjs the home directory is /home/users/mjs and the
profile directory should be /home/users/mjs/profile which already exists
with a profile in it. When I login from windows though it creates a new
profile under /home/users/mjs.
Having said this, when I created the user with pdbedit it told me that the...

SCP file corruptions
Hi,
I apparently was asleep at the wheel using scp, and accidentally copied a
file onto itself. Scp generated an Input/Output error and did not perform
the copy. However, now the file is corrupt. Is this a but? Is there anyway
to fix the file I messed up?
Thanks,

streaming ogg from WinAmp
Hi list,
I was just wondering if there was a way to stream using ogg format from
WinAmp.
I could always take the output from WinAmp and feed it in to the sound card
on my Linux box and use the live streaming option of ices, but that sounds a
bit messy.
Also what is a recommended quality to stream ogg at so that modem listeners
can pick it up with out many skips. I found that 32k was fine in

with libshout it wouldn't be difficult for us to write our own package

Problems with ./config on Mac OS X
My apologies for sending this to such a generic list.
My ultimate goal is to compile Kerberos-aware ssh and scp on my Mac running
OS X 10.1.3. To that end, I downloaded openssh-3.1p1. Following the
instructions, I also downloaded and installed openssl-0.9.6c. I did a
% make; make install
for that. It seems to be happy. However, when I run ./config, I get this
error:
