Could you please check this into, e.g. llvm/utils/testing/buildbot ? I'm hoping to have llvm/utils/ become cleaner and more organized rather than a mish-mash of useful scripts that get lost in the flat structure. > My hope is that once checked in Danny and I can merged the current > public buildbot configuration and my configuration so that all > buildbots are driven from the same master configuration (with > additional local configur...

[LLVMdev] LLVM Loop Vectorizer
...f being serialized into a string. Consider a query like "how expensive is a shuffle with this type on this shuffle mask". Clearly the only way to implement this is by having the target implement a virtual method call. Another sore point (for me) is that TargetLoweringInfo is a terrible mish-mash of stuff that things like LSR and things like SelectionDagLowering need. It definitely needs to be cleaned up and have some sanity beat into it (we don't want LSR thinking about MCExprs!), but this is a problem with the design of TargetLoweringInfo itself, not a problem with the concept o...

[LLVMdev] What does "debugger tuning" mean?
...re based on target, which AFAICT is based on an out-of-date assumption about how target correlates to debugger. I'm proposing to package up known sets of stuff that we're having to contend with _today_ in a way that's easier to talk about and do something about than the target-oriented mish-mash we have now. It's a whole lot simpler to say something like "FreeBSD implies LLDB" instead of "FreeBSD implies accelerator tables and standard TLS opcode and no pubnames or pubtypes." Or would you rather say "--lang-feature=auto --lang-feature=rvalue-ref --lang-f...

Markdown for phpBB, vBulletin and the rest?
Is there any way Markdown could be ported to the major bulletin board programs, like phpBB? It seems like such a place would be a great fit for Markdown. It would definitely be a lot better than using BBcode or vBcode or whatever the heck it is they call that mish-mash of pseudo-HTML they use. -------------------------------------------------------- Robert Dumas robdumas@gmail.com

[RFC PATCHv1] cover: celt_pitch_xcorr: Introduce ARM neon intrinsics
...7+ platforms, so detection shouldn?t be necessary there either. The configure script should probably default rtcd_support accordingly, but configuring with --disable-rtcd should be sufficient to build on these platforms, regardless. I'm mostly concerned about Linux distros where there's a mish mash of options and a number of ARMv7 SoCs that don't have NEON so I'd like to see it enabled and used by default but have appropriate fall back so it doesn't break those SoCs without it. [LLVMdev] LLVM Loop Vectorizer
Is it possible to not make it 'Target*'? I'm spending a lot of time moving TargetData out, would hate to have to do it again at some point in the future for TargetVectorData. :) > -----Original Message----- > From: llvmdev-bounces at cs.uiuc.edu [mailto:llvmdev-bounces at cs.uiuc.edu] > On Behalf Of Nadav Rotem > Sent: Friday, October 05, 2012 1:23 PM > To: Eric

What is exactly PuppetShow?
... or better, what is intended to be? I''ve seen references to PuppetShow in IRC, mailing lists and documentation, but still have no clear idea of what it is. Is it just a reporting tool? Will you be able to create manifests or configure nodes from it? Thanks, best regards Jose _______________________________________________ Puppet-users mailing list Puppet-users@madstop.com

Preloading results in Ajax App
Hello Rails lovers! I have a few general discussions that I have yet to find terribly active. Perhaps all of the people busy on this front are...uh...busy on this front. So! Ajax-only apps. No degration. Yes! Forget about degradation for a moment. Not willing to? Ok, well...this question is for those who are willing... Imagine developing an app that is one page - all actions render partials

[LLVMdev] What does "debugger tuning" mean?
This is basically a reboot of the previous thread titled About the "debugger target" except that "target" was really too strong a term for what I had intended to use this feature for. "Debugger tuning" is more like it. You don't need to have read the previous thread, I'll recap here. Fundamentally, Clang/LLVM uses DWARF as the specification for the

Pay rates for Rails developers
Does anyone have an idea of the rates being charged by Rails developers (or salaries for FTEs)? I''m curious to see whether rates will become comparable to those paid to more experienced Java/.NET developer types, or if rates will be lowered by the free/open source mentality, and the possible perception that Rails makes Web development "easy." Sometimes rates are more
