Asterisk is not showing the correct Incomming CallerID
...re using ISDN Bri line which is terminated in a Digium 4 port bri card (B410P). Like if a number say 02 12345678 calls to our line asterisk displays it 12 12345678. Similarlay if a mobile number say 0416 123456 dials us , asterisk displays 1416 123456. I am not sure where the problem is either in misdn.conf or extension.conf. Would be kind enough if some give any Pointer or help. Regards Farooq --

Digium B410P: misdn v1 or misdn v2 or dahdi + asterisk 1.6 ?
Hi, Until now I've been using my Digium B410P cards with misdn 1.0.x. I would like to upgrade my systems and am now wondering which is the "best" route to take: - use the latest release of misdn v1 - upgrade to the latest "stable" kernel and use the built-in misdn v2 - use misdn v2 as a seperate package (disable misdn in the kernel) - use...

Fritz, mISDN, Help
A plea to all! Has anyone had any success with two or more avm fritz pci cards with either misdn, chan_misdn, or chan_capi, and any version of linux 2.6.x? I have managed to get misdn to load under 2.6.13 and detect two cards using misdn-capi and chan-capi (using capiinfo and capi info under asterisk) - but the second card/controller doesn't answer or dial calls. But if I try misdn wit...

echotraining=yes in misdn.conf is invalid or out of range.
Hi. I'm having problems with chan_mISDN configuration. Line "echotraining=yes" causes warning, when Asterisk is parsing misdn.conf and I'm confused why the PBX doesn't accept the setting. No matter which section I try to offer it, it is always invalid or out of range. The setting itself is supposed to be valid, it i...

chan_misdn troubles
Hello I have just set up Asterisk Asterisk 1.4.21.2 on a CentOS 5.2 machine. I am using the OpenVox B200P ISDN card. My problem is that even though chan_misdn module seems to be loaded correctly with Asterisk (I can see it using 'module show' command) the misdn commands are not available to me in the CLI so I cannot tell if my box is correctly interfacing with the ISDN card Any ideas what can be going wrong ? My installation procedure looked li...

mISDN ports and dstchannel CDR logging
Hi All I have noticed that when calling over mISDN channels the call itself is made over the channels listed in misdn.conf eg: 1,2,3,4 as misdn/1, misdn/2, misdn/3, misdn/4 etc. However, when looking through the CDR's the call gets logged as misdn/0, misdn/1, misdn/2, misdn/3, misdn/4, misdn/5 etc. I also noted that busy, failed, congeste...

mISDN & Asterisk 1.4: HFC-S card not responsive
Hi, I have installed Asterisk 1.4 with mISDN with the install-asterisk.tar.gz script from beronet.com. On my system I have two cards, one a AVM Frit!Card Pci 2.0 and one HFC-S chip. I know both to work well with mISDN on my system from a previous installation. Now however, the AVM card works well at first glance, i.e. it "registers&...

OT - mISDN and B410P questions
Hello, I'm evaluating to possibility to use chan_misdn as a short term workaround, in case latest Dahdi is not stable enough for what we are planning to do (we wish to use Junghanns and Digium BRI hardware with Asterisk 1.6) . I've read www.mISDN.org but still have a couple of questions : 1. Is correct that in a 2.6.27 (and up) enabled kernel, the...

Installing the b410p card, unable to install mISDN
...compiled the zaptel package I used: make clean make make install So far so good, but the following command failed: make b410p I did some digging on google and found a guide on how to install it manually, but the result was the same. I got these files ftp.digium.com/pub/telephony/zaptel/b410p/misdn-b410p.tar.gz ftp.digium.com/pub/telephony/zaptel/b410p/mISDNuser.tar.gz And did the following: make force make make install All the commands worked just fine. Remark: The guide I was using told me to cd into the mISDNuser directory, but didn't do anything with it. /etc/init.d/misdn-init sc...
