Hi, I have been having an error since past couple of days to connect to several of the mirror sites. I wonder if anyone knows the port/s for communicating with the R-mirror sites for downloading packages. If we know this we may be able to figure the problem at our end. Thank you to all the people that responded. I found a php.spec file for EL3 and modified the php.spec file that came with the php source rpm from the CentOS mirros. Built and installed the php-snmp rpm and it is working great!!! greetings when CentOS 4 first came out i downloaded the DVD and installed from it several times just fine. should i continue to use it? OR, is there a "newer" one? where on the mirros should i snag it "the best" new one if it exists please? thank you and kind regards, - rh

ups, sorry for fuzzy description. I use "top" to watch the running processes. It updates every 5 seconds. I am running RedHat 7.2, download from one of Redhats mirros. Haven't installed any updates of Redhat 7.2. The box is a fresh PC with Amd Athlon 1700XP, 128MB, two SoundBlaster 16 PCI using OSS drivers. Any info missing? Hi, I have a box running Mandrake 8.2 and samba 2.2.4 on an NT domain. smbpasswd -j says it joins the domain ok, I use the included sys-auth-windbind file for pam, and the winbind entries are in nsswitch.conf. Everything appears to be running, but when I try wbinfo -u I get "Error looking up domain users". getent passwd only return the linux accounts. Yet wbinfo -t returns

I've gone through the trouble (after some 10 rounds I finally have something I'm happy with) and generated jigdo/template files for CentOS 5.0 iso's (CD/DVD i386/x86_64) (and CentOS 4.4 while I was at it: CD/DVD/ServerCD SRPMS/i386/x86_64).
