IAXy Hung, Power-cycle Required
I've got a single IAXy installed in a little office nearby and got a call
from someone on site a finew mintues ago. Apparently they couldn't make a
call on that extension. They'd pick up the phone and get nothing; no
dial-tone.
Running "iax2 show peers" showed the unit still registered and I could
ping it too. Didn't try to call it while it was doing this; sorry. The

Slow browsing through Windows Explorer
...an C:>H: change to the H: drive, do a "dir" and
list all the files, I can even dig down into sub dirs and list files over
the network, the whole time the explorer process appears to be hung trying
to list the files, just like I did in the command prompt window.
Then after about 4 or 5 mintues, everything comes back to normal, it shows
all the files in the explorer window, and then any clicking I did like on
the start menu or trying to move winodws while it was hung all happens very
quickly and then it's fine. Until I try to access the drive again in about
2 or 3 hours.
Sorry so lo...

computer down - want to get help
...am running the fedora7 (PAE kernel, disable selinux) as router. it has been up 28 days.
Yesterday the computer was no response suddenly
I saw the login prompt in the console but the keyboard didn't have any response.
After rebooting, I check logs and (I have own logs - ps , top, dmesg every mintues). the computer was ok before freezing. No kernel panic also
Do you have any ideas to cause this problem?
eg; overhead, memory leakage, and so on....
Do you have any suggestion?
Thank you so much

Antw: Re: openssh kills the stty values?
Hi,
thanks for your answer. I can reproduce your error in my HP-UX system and solved it ;-)).
I built socalled software-depots for distributing the openssh-package and put
the start command in the postinstall-script. The shell of this postinstall script has the bahavior
that intr ^C won't work properly. So I did your trick with "/sbin/init.d/sshd stop/start" from a shell where ^C

waiting for 2.2.1 to upgrade...) on my RedHat 6.2 server.
I am running Samba as the PDC and fileserver for a network of ~7 Win2k Pro
machines. Everything has been working perfectly for 3 months, until today.
All of a sudden, it is taking some files an extremely long time to open (up
to 3 mintues), and these are not particularly large files. When the users
try to copy the files off of the file server an on to their local hard
drives, they get 1 of the following errors (the error switches between
these 2): "Cannot copy <filename>: Error performing inpage operation" or
