allow_nets overridden by cache
Hi, I've just started trying allow_nets on one of my servers. I have auth_debug and auth_verbose both enabled and the output is as follows: Oct 28 13:05:48 mink dovecot: auth-worker(default): auth(user at domain.net,x.x.x.x): allow_nets: Matching for network 127.0.0.1/8 Oct 28 13:05:48 mink dovecot: auth-worker(default): auth(user at domain.net,x.x.x.x): allow_nets: Matching for network

Intermittent "certificate cannot be verified" error
Hi guys, Not sure where to start looking for this. I've got a few users getting intermittent "certificate cannot be verified" messages when connecting through SSL to Dovecot. Connections go through haproxy to Dovecot 1.1.8 on the back end servers. I've got verbose_ssl and auth_debug enabled. All I'm seeing on the logs for the time the users reported the error is this: Jan

Confidence intervals for prediction based on the logistic equation
Greetings, We are performing a meta-analysis of mink pup survival data versus chemical concentration. We have modeled percent survival successfully using nls as shown below and the plot. What we need to do is construct a confidence interval on the concentration at which we get 50% survival (aka the EC50, although we may want other percent survivals in the future). My first question is, what seems

Playing Audio before the Phone is Ready
I had a hard time coming up with a subject. I have some SP IP500s that I'm using with *. When I access voicemail or get the busy announcement, I'm only hearing the last half of the first word or coming in on the second word. As example, when accessing voicemail, I hear ' have 1 new message.' It's like * is starting to play the announcement before opening the channel. This is

[Rscript] difficulty passing named arguments from commandline
Wanting a commandline solution (for a problem detailed @ http://mailman.unidata.ucar.edu/mailing_lists/archives/netcdfgroup/2012/msg00279.html ) I turned to Rscript, and whacked out the q'n'd https://github.com/TomRoche/GEIA_to_netCDF/blob/master/netCDF.stats.to.stdout.r However it wasn't as quick as hoped, because I spent quite a bit of time figuring out how to pass the arguments.

Re: The LPBN radio station.
Sorry for my ignorance but what is the LPBN???? I don't think my main stream was running after I mailed you earlier today. It is running right now. Do you have an URL for LPBN??? Re: The LPBN radio station.
hi I wonder if you would like to join my localplayer.com network? I operate on the same philosophy. All my artists are unsigned and I have their consent to stream their music. on my station. I envision a drop down menu that helps me navigate to the city of my choice. Raymond wrote: > Hello: > > I'm starting a radio station on the LPBN. The music will be from all > local Los

Underscores and Fortran code
This might more properly be filed as a bug report, but ... I came upon the following problem while trying to dyn.load a library of Fortran code into R. I'm running RedHat 7.1 on a Pentium III laptop, with R version 1.3.1 (latest rpm from CRAN) and gcc/g77 version 2.96. My library has a number of Fortran subroutines that have underscores in their names for readability. By default g77

1.1.8 upgrade to 1.2
Hi, I'm hoping to upgrade to 1.2 in the next couple of days. I remember seeing something mentioning some sort of config change, but unfortunately I don't remember where I saw it nor what the config option was. Are there any gotchas I need to watch out for in the change to 1.2 from 1.1.8? I've included dovecot -n below. Thanks Guy #dovecot -n # 1.1.8: /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf # OS:

Re: The LPBN radio station.
Yes, I'm listening to Aardvark Recorders Present: Local Players - one.mp3 So you want to syndicate? Or you want both localplayers and the LPBN to just share stuff. Anyway I like the idea and am ready to move ahead. I have a bulletin board on the LPBN for the radio station but I think if I create a mail group it will be easier to communicate with all the people that are building the

Patton SmartNode Help
I have been given a Patton SmartNode 4114 and asked to get it working as POPS gateway for our asterisk box. The 4114 has 4 FXO ports. It's got firmware 3.21 on it. I currently have a single POPS line plugged into port 0. I can not seem to get the two to talk together. I am running asterisk 1.2.21.1. I am seeing the following repeatedly in * Jan 24 16:23:40 NOTICE[17063]: chan_sip.c:11291

Re: The LPBN radio station.
Hi: I really liked the music on your 32kbps stream. That is what I listened to. It is very high quality low bandwidth. You must have a recording studio as well as the station. The website for the Linux Public Broadcasting Network is www.lpbn.org I'll create a mailing list for radio on LPBN later tonight so our emails don't disrupte the kind folks at icecast. Just a note, on Sunday I

debug vs regular mode
Dear all, I had a R segmentation fault, and then invoked debug mode and ran step by step. When I reached "terms(Y~X1*X2*...*X16)", I would then have "segmentation" fault. However, if I just ran this under regular "R interactive" mode, it would be fine though taking long time. My questions are: 1. Is there a known limit of terms for a formula? 2. Why does the
