Hi: I really liked the music on your 32kbps stream. That is what I listened to. It is very high quality low bandwidth. You must have a recording studio as well as the station. The website for the Linux Public Broadcasting Network is www.lpbn.org I'll create a mailing list for radio on LPBN later tonight so our emails don't disrupte the kind folks at icecast. Just a note, on Sunday I asked Stephen Proviser of the Allston Curmudgeon about what waivers I may need the musicians to sign. I believe his guest on today's show (see the Allston Curmudgeon 10-29-2002) tells exactly what I need for the artistis to release their music onto the LPBN. Also about the big names in the last email...well I don't necessarily like big named companies I just wanted to show that the big guns are getting behind the Linux Public Broadcasting Network. Check out this Saturday's webcast from the University of Southern California of the Southern California Linux Expo Live on the LPBN. I am one of the speakers at the expo. see linux.usc.edu for more info. I think the pull down menu is a good start. I don't have the music in radio station format yet but I have someone working on it. Can I add your station to a pull down menu on the LPBN? Raymond NetscapeSix@ChoiceMail wrote:> Sorry for my ignorance but what is the LPBN???? I just posted a little note. I am a member. I see you are using PostNuke. I use phpWebsite for some of the sites I administer. Yes I have a recording studio where work with some local people. I know audio. That is why my stream is clear. I stream other productions though not just my own. Raymond wrote:> Hi: > > I really liked the music on your 32kbps stream. That is what I > listened to.
