Hello listmates, It appears that system-config-bind has been phased out. Whatever the reasoning was behind that decision - what are we expected to do now? Edit it manually? Hello, I'm setting up a centos5 router for a friend. It will direct traffic to an internal webserver, already in place, as well as run squid proxy. It should do nat and have a firewall with iptables. I've set up routers before for this purpose but always of the bsd type and using their firewalls. I understand the concepts, nat, packet filtering, etc. but i'm not getting

It looks like my CentOS 4.2 box is attacking other people with some type of ftp attack. I got an email from somebody saying they were being attacked by my IP address. Further investigation /var/log/messages shows a whole bunch of sshd attacks on me, none of which appear successful. I'm running ethereal right now and I can see that my system is doing some kind of ftp attacks on others.

Hi, I have set up a RaspberryPi computer to do monitoring of two UPSs. One is an MGE evolution 800, one is an Eaton Powerware 5110. The MGE was being monitored by another Linux (Ubuntu 12.04) computer, and I just copied and pasted in the relevant nut config and it works just fine with nut.
