Echo/Milliwatt Test Numbers in Oz ?
Is anyone aware of an milliwat/echo test number for telstra or similar?
I want to fiddle a bit with gains but can't seem to get a hold of a
miliwatt test number
Im aware of a number they distribute for line quality testing for modems
for BigPond, but I can't track it down ....

Echo problem with TDM440P and ADSL Line

I compile first time zaptel with ECHO_CAN_MARK, but also i probe MARK2,
MARK3, KB1 and ECHO_CAN_MG2, with no result for the Line that have the ADSL.
The aggresive make good with the adsl line, but get really extrange
sounds across the conversation.
I don't know the milliwat test line here on spain to setup the gains
correctly (If any body knowsm send it, :) ), so i call from one line to
the anoter one with a millivat app, so i notice that when i connect a
analog phone to the line 1 press 5 to get a clear line, and talk
something i hear me but very very low, but wh...

Threading troubles 1.4.5 & IAX2-> SIP (FreeBSD specific??)
...to happen using both trunking and non-trunking modes.
This happened with DONT_OPTIMIZE setting on or off, but with it ON it
doesn;t dump core.
At least when it was dumping core, it appeared to have been in the
pthread_cancel
calls.
We've recompiled the PBX asterisk with no threading, and the
milliwat/etc. tests to the vrouter
from the SIP phones ran clean (other than when we pushed the bandwidth
limits <grin>)
This morning it was consistently the agent (on the SIP Phones) who
could hear the remote side complaining that the remote side can't hear
them anymore. After we've recompi...
