Hi, When monitoring an asterisk through its iax2 port I get these warnings at the console: [Nov 6 13:15:15] WARNING[2209]: chan_iax2.c:7000 socket_process: midget packet received (1 of 4 min) This is triggered by the monitoring app sending a POKE to the iax port. ...e have a lead on a Nagios plugin that speaks IAX or a small app to do so? I'm trying to set up remote monitoring for my Asterisk server and only IAX2 traffic is allowed through the firewall. Simply using check_udp to port 4569 yields no usable answer and Asterisk complains about receiving a midget packet or something like that :) jens

It seems a php-extensions bug. If you comment the mhash.so in /usr/local/etc/php/extensions.ini as: ;entension=mhash.so all works fine and you don't get anymore httpd crash (signal 11) if you use 'apachectl graceful'.
