OT - lowest power, cheapest python interpreter
...#39;m not sure of is the PXE part. Pi 3 supports PXE over ethernet without using an SD card... I don't believe the older Pi's do, unless you put the PXE bootloader on an SD card. I usually figure a Pi costs $50 + SD card, as I like to put them in a case, and they do need a decent 2 amp MicroUSB PSU, you can get a case + wallwart for $15 on top of the $35 board cost. -- john r pierce, recycling bits in santa cruz

I am searching for the cheapeat *nix SOC device with ethernet and wifi that can run Python 2.7. Ethernet should be 100mbit and hopefully supporting PXE. OT because im doubting you can squeeze our bloaty friend onto such a device.... :)

Frustrated. Java on Centos 6 doesn't give an error message when downloading from a Samsung Galaxy S3
...atingly difficult it is to transfer multiple files from the smartphone to Centos 6. It should be as simple as hooking up a USB cable and dragging and dropping (which it is, on most other smartphones, including the Samsung Galaxy S2, which has USBMS mode still intact). Note: I don't have a microUSB card, so that isn't an option and I have no desire to transfer the personal photos to the cloud just to get them from the phone to Centos, nor to install Wine and/or a virtuoal OS just to do something as simple as transfer files. On the Samsung Galaxy S3, you can go all day to Settings->...
