wine dxdiag.exe spews a few fixme messages (Related to ALSA drivers) and then exits. No Window, no error messages. Till now, this wasn't a problem (several games ran fine) but when I tried installing a legacy game (Grand Prix World by Microprose), it could not detect my graphics card. Tried DxDiag but it isnt working. Any help will be much appreciated, thanks.

Hello all. Recently i have been trying to run Mechwarrior3 (game from last nineteens by Microprose) under wine-0.9.27. I recently installed a game called "magic the gathering 2010 edition" which is a user created remake of the classic microprose game. The installation went fine, but now when I go to open the game the bottom of my screen says "opening magic..." and then that goes away, and nothing else happens. I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and Wine 1.2.
