Thanks, but we have reasons to want to make it work with IIS.
Anyone have a hint of what is the issue?

Polycom Microbrowser
I have just spent the morning playing around with a Polycom IP600's
microbrowser. Everything is working pretty well. In answer to the
question of what type of XML it runs, it appears to be more or less
XHTML-compliant. I have created a basic set of web pages allowing users
to clock in and out against our MySQL timeclock system, running a PHP
back-end. It's running like...

Polycom push application for microbrowser
Hi,
I have been trying a (really simple) push application for the Polycom
microbrowser, using a Polycom 650 with 3.2 firmware.
I can't do anything, I always get "Push message cannot be displayed" back
from the Polycom phone, and all I am sending is the Polycom example :
<PolycomIPPhone>
<Data priority=?critical?> <h1> Fire Drill at 2pm </h1...

SIP hardphones with xml/html/xhtml/microbrowser support?
What hardphones support xml/html/xhmtl/microbrowser? I need an inexpensive
SIP hardphone that can run simple applications (queue status, etc).
The phones I know of:
Aastra 480i, 9112i, 9133i
(though limited by 3 LCD lines on the 91xx seems kind of silly)
Cisco 79xx
Mitel 5235
Polycom IP601
Any others?

Polycom Soundpoint 500/600 MiniBrowser
I'm trying to develop a company phone list accessible via the
minibrowser feature on the phone.
The pertinent section of ipmid.cfg is as follows:

mb.idleDisplay.home="http://server/polycom/index.html"
mb.idleDisplay.refresh="300"/>
<main mb.main.home="http://server/polycom/index.html"/>

'Click to Dial'
Oooo I think I am gonna poo my pants.
Using the microbrowser on a Polycom 601, I was able to get it to execute a cgi script upon selection of an item. The cgi script used Net::Telnet connect to the manager interface on another Asterisk system, call the user back at their phone and then bridge the call to the number associated with the microbrowser menu optio...

XML Revisited
Hello Guys.
I recently contacted polycoms tech support asking if their phones supported
XML pushed information to which they replied that only model 600 had a
microbrwoser capable of reading dhtml files and such.
My question to the community is: is somebody doing any XML info push to any
brand of phones except Cisco? How are you doing it?
One of the wonders of VoIP should be the means to send

Polycom IP 500 bitmaps and Idle Display Animation
Has anyone got this to work? Under Idle Display Animation, the
administrators guide says "For example, a company logo could be
displayed"..
In the ipmid.cfg file, I enabled 'ind.idleDisplay.enabled' (ie changed
it to 1), and under the IP 500 section, I added an entry for the bitmap
that I want to display: bitmap.IP_500.66.name ="arf" but from there I'm
not sure

Polycom 600 phone
>From their website, the key difference between the polycom 500 and 600 phones is the number of "lines" they support. What does this mean in terms of asterisk? Do I have to have a seperate extension for each of these lines or ?
Also, slightly off-topic, how does the 500 POE "optional" cable work? Is this similar to have a power box on your desk, or is just a differently

GS BT200 dialling PC501
I have just upgraded my Polycom 501's from 1.6.2.0041 to 2.1.0.2708 to

Almost everything is fine except when receiving calls from a BT200
(1.1.14 and earlier) the Polycom rings but when answered, drops out and
the BT200 gets a busy tone.
I have many PAP2T's and SPA3000's etc and they all cal call the Polycom
without problem.

Polycom IP500 vs Cisco 7940
Hi Everyone,
I've been asked to determine which phones our organization should go
with. And I've narrowed it down to the Polycom IP500 or the Cisco 7940.
From my travels through google, it's hard to find a definitive
comparison of the two phones. So I thought I would ask the people that
have probably used both.
From what I can tell, the only major benefit the Cisco has over the

Any suggestions for an IP phone?
Hi all,
We are in the process of selection IP Phones to work with our *new*
Asterisk PBX.
We want to buy 4 for something less than 1000$ but with a nice set of
features to work with our mail box, lines, good sound quality, full
duplex (and maybe speaker phone).
Any suggestions for something with good voice quality and not much
troubles to setup with Asterisk?
Voici quality is the most

Polycom phones w/ two lines on different servers
Hi all -
This isn't really directly Asterisk related, but has anyone successfully
set up a Polycom phone to register two lines on two different Asterisk
boxes? I can get the first line to register, but the second one does not.
I can still place calls from that second line, which indicates to me the
server, user, and secret are correct. I'm running the newest 2.6 series
firmware with the
