vpopmail/mysql/quota
Hi All, I'm new to the list and have a quota question. I am building a new server with dovecot/qmail/vpopmail/mysql and emails are sending and recieving fine when the quota is set to NOQUOTA, but when the quota is changed qmail doesn't deliver any messages. I have read the docs and still need some help understanding the process for dovecot quotas relating to the vpopmail mysql database

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list. I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without modifications. How did I try it? Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock ) Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee prep-out.log The build failed at the end: Processing files: kernel-xenU-devel-2.6.9-67.0.20.EL Checking

64 bit / v9 build on Sparc Solaris 8
By my reading, R has a hard limit on INT_MAX bytes for vector allocations. On the sparcv9 architecture, INT_MAX is a 32 bit quantity, even though pointers can be 64 bits. Has any thought been given to use of > 2GB of virtual memory on systems like this? -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-help mailing list -- Read

passing through configure parameters during module installation?
This patch makes it possible do module installs in this way: $ R INSTALL --with-hdf5=/packages . Is there a better/conventional way to do this kind of thing that I'm not seeing? diff -c -r1.29 INSTALL.in *** src/scripts/INSTALL.in 2000/01/24 19:48:48 1.29 --- src/scripts/INSTALL.in 2000/01/26 01:26:11 *************** *** 107,112 **** --- 107,116 ---- lib=${2}; shift ;;

DLL modules with other dependent libraries
Hi all, In R for Windows, is there a preferred way to handle R extensions that provide native code that depend upon one or more third party DLLs? If I put those DLLs in the library/MODULE/libs it doesn't find them. In other words, my MODULE.dll has other DLLs it uses, but they aren't standard and it would be unlikely to find them in the system path. Thanks for any suggestions!

-std=c99 and inline semantics
Hi, I noticed that with the GCC trunk (4.3.0), the semantics of "extern inline" have reversed. The net result is that R will build without the usual-stdc=gnu99 but it won't with it. Many multiple definitions result otherwise. Marcus
