Announcing mfe 0.1.0
Dear R users, I am pleased to announce that the package mfe (Meta-Feature Extractor) is now available on CRAN (https://cran.r-project.org/package=mfe). The mfe package extracts meta-features from datasets to support the design of recommendation systems based on Meta-Learning. The meta-features, also called characterization measures, are able to characteriz...

[LLVMdev] deleting or replacing a MachineInst
I'm writing a peephole pass and I'm done with the X86_64 instruction level detail work. But I'm having difficulty with the basic block surgery of replacing the old MachineInst. The peephole pass gets called per MachineFunction and then iterates over each MachineBasicBlock and in turn over each MachineInst. When it finds an instruction which should be replaced, it builds a new

[LLVMdev] [Query] Programming Register Allocation
So I have a good understanding of what and how I want to do in the abstract sense. I am starting to gain a feel for the code base, and I see that I may have a allocator up and running much faster than I once thought thanks to the easy interfaces. What I need to know is how to access the machine register classes. Also, I need to know which virtual register is to be mapped into each specific

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: - an MBA, MFE, or MS in statistics, economics, or finance, or a Ph.D. in those disciplines; - significant expertise in the statistical language R or S-Plus (also knowing SAS is a plus); - experience working in financial services, particularly in the mortgage or investment banking sectors; - some background...

Play a number of files to a caller
I want to be able to allow a caller to dial a ddi, system to verify identity etc (this is all done) I then want them to sit listening to music, until an event happens. When this (external) event happens, I want to play a certain file to the caller, using playback (so that they have ff / rw etc), and when finished, go back to the music. 1) I thought of redirecting to an extension that played the

Problems with writing files
Hi, I have configured wine according to some howto-stuff. I can run several apps but I've problems writing files: 1) Langenscheidt language learning program: Sound output works, but input fails. If mciwave is builtin, program hangs at input (no error messages), if mciwave is native only empty files are created. 2) For other apps I had to change commdlg.dll and shell.dll (and their 32bit
