Out of memory using wineconsole
Hi,
I tried to launch Windows ME's ftp.exe
with wineconsole.
Command line was :
wineconsole --winver=winme ftp
In result my system hangs,
found in /var/log/messages :
snoop kernel: Out of Memory: Killed process 14041
(wineconsole).
Strange, because I have no problem running ftp without
wineconsole.
I have sufficient memory (2...

kinit succeeded but ads_sasl_spnego_krb5_bind failed: Program lacks support for encryption type
Hello All,
Having some trouble connecting to my Windows domain with my Solaris server.
Some details included below that might give you an idea of what is going on
here. I have tried setting allow weak crypto in the krb5.conf, I have tried
specifying the encryption types and leaving it blank to use the defaults all
to no...

[PATCH 07/12] vhost-scsi: convert put_page() to put_user_page*()
From: J?r?me Glisse <jglisse at redhat.com>
For pages that were retained via get_user_pages*(), release those pages
via the new put_user_page*() routines, instead of via put_page().
This is part a tree-wide conversion, as described in commit fc1d8e7cca2d
("mm: introduce put_user_page*(), placeholde...

[PATCH 00/12] block/bio, fs: convert put_page() to put_user_page*()
From: John Hubbard <jhubbard at nvidia.com>
Hi,
This is mostly Jerome's work, converting the block/bio and related areas
to call put_user_page*() instead of put_page(). Because I've changed
Jerome's patches, in some cases significantly, I'd like to get his
feedback before we actually leave him listed as the author (he might
want to disown some or all...

It should work the same, after all, it is using the same code.

How can I setup a Domain Controller and File Server on the same hardware
I understand from the wiki that I shouldn't have the domain controller also
be the file server.
Is it possible to to setup the domain controller in a chroot and have the
file server run under regular root?
Would it be better to setup a VM for the domain controller and have file
server run on the main OS or vice-versa?
Regards,
John
