Mess code when encryption
Hi everyone, I have a question about using encryption in Gluster FS. 1.Created a file (file size is smaller than 1k) in the volume?s mount point. 2.Read the file, finally got a mess code. I found that the content I got is from cache and no decryption is operated on the file content, so mess code returns. If I set the following property to off, then everything is OK. performance.quick-read

Re: Samba 3.0 PDC, exchange 5.5 installing service pack 4 fails.
Hi Jerry - I'm just e-mailing you regarding the Exchange SP4 upgrade error when using a Samba 3.0 PDC. We presently have a Samba 3.0 PDC and using Exchange 5.5 SP4 without a problem, however we are in the process of migrating to Win2K3 and Exchange 2K3 and are setting up a test network to simulate the migration. While installing SP4 on exchange I keep getting a Dr. Watson error exactly the

[LLVMdev] Supporting heterogeneous computing in llvm.
Chirs, Have you seen an offloading infrastructure design proposal at http://lists.cs.uiuc.edu/pipermail/llvmdev/2015-April/084986.html ? It relies on the long-standing OpenMP standard with recent updates to support the heterogenous computations. Could you please review it and comment on how it fits to your needs? It's not quite clear from your proposal what source language standard do you

ssh and popen-- broken pipe
...l. In the test program, I called popen for ssh command and then pclose right away. I got the following error: kirk 588$ a.out Write failed flushing stdout buffer. write stdout: Broken pipe Any idea what is going on. If I call popen with some other commands, it runs fine. One more thing worth metioning here is even with ssh, my application was fine last month on another machine. Unfortunately, that machine was taken off the lease and I and trying to trace done the ssh version information. Thanks in advance. memory issues with samba 3.0.10
I'm still having problems with that memory issue using 3.0.10 with v.2 of the printing patch + the one line patch from Jerome Borsboom. My production server has completely frozen a couple times in the past couple weeks, and did so again this morning. This time before restarting samba I removed the tdb files in /var/lib/samba/printing/* as Jerry mentioned this might help the queue not

home share issue: //server/homes errs, while //server/<username> works
Hello list, I'm running a samba server in AD domain, with some AD users explicitly mapped into local users by "username map = sambauser.map", which is a text file. Problem is found with explicitly mapped user, I can only access home share by //server/<ADusername>, not //server/homes (using windows explorer). This feels wrong because I also tried those AD users not listed in

"The Ogg Vorbis Musical Abyss"
Just found this one: http://camelot.kingarthur.com/phoco/ogg_vorbis/info.html It seems to have music dedicated to vorbis (by the names, don't have player here) and a link to an interview with Monty ("more information on the Ogg Vorbis format") and the artists seem very excited about it. The browser says the pages are quite old (Jul./Sep. 2001) but I don't remember it being

A little confusion between "tapdisk" and "tapdisk-ioemu"
Hi everyone, as what I''ve learned form this link<http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/blktap>, i know that when i specify tap:aio I’m actually using the blktap driver and finally using "tapdisk" to wirite to raw image file. but the truth is even when i delete /usr/sbin/tapdisk the domU can still boot on my machine with tap:aio protocol after a deeper look into the scene,
