3.2.6 or 3.3
Hello list,
We have been using 3.2.6 the last few months and are reasonably happy with it.
I am about to build a new file server (to replace the existing solution) and now have to decide to either stick with 3.2.6 (because we know it works) or upgrade to 3.3.
Main use will be a few distributed, replicated volumes on two servers with maybe a dozen or so clients.
Secondary use will be a

isolinux: Disk error 20, AX=425 c, drive EF
Hello SYSLINUX,
I have been searching for a resource for the "Disk error" messages
coming out of isolinux.
I am seeing the message "isolinux: Disk error 20, AX=425 c, drive
EF" on many occasions where a combination of questionable Linux OS media
comes in contact with touchy LITE-ON DVD/RW Drives attempting to load
Red Hat Linux. We know that changing the Drive or

Hello everyone,
Maybe this doesn't make sense, but after I updated autofs yesterday and
rebooted this morning, X windows won't go. It tries with the old
configuration---doesn't work. It tries a fresh config and fails. I can't
copy and paste, but it says screens found, but no usable configuration.

I have a time series of 122 values, actualy it is a time series of daily indian monsoon rainfall. now i want to filter this time series for a particular oscilation say 10 to 20days oscilation. i want to find out what amount of variance is explained by this mode. Which package is available in R for this purpose. and how to calculate nquest frequancy of this series. any help is much

Creating Boxpot with R within bash script
I will confess to being very wet behind the ears when it comes to scripting, so with that as a backdrop, here is my question. I can create a box and whisker plot without any problem from the command line, but incorporating that process into a bash script has proved problematic. Below is the portion of the bash script that fails:

clogit question
Hi,
I am playing with
clogit(case~spontaneous+induced+strata(stratum),data=infert)
from clogit help file.
This line works.
1. But, why strata(stratum) doesn't have a coefficient like spontaneous
and induced?
2. When I remove strata(stratum) from the command, this function seems
to keep running forever. Why?
3. I think the equation for clogit looks like
P=1/(1+
