3.2.6 or 3.3
...n use will be a few distributed, replicated volumes on two servers with maybe a dozen or so clients.
Secondary use will be a distributed volume spread over all machines.
What are people's experiences with 3.2.6 vs 3.3? Would you recommend 3.3 for operational use?
Thanks,
Frank

isolinux: Disk error 20, AX=425 c, drive EF
...ives attempting to load
Red Hat Linux. We know that changing the Drive or the media solves the
problem, but the drive and the media works in other workstations.
I am an engineer working for the National Weather Service, and this
is an issue that can potentially affect the workstations that
Meteorologist use to view weather images on.
I would be glad to share more information about this with you if you
like. I very much appreciate any guidance you can provide.

How to evaluate a Variable Name?
...n a loop?
For (i in 1:12){
Temp <- paste('sum(Wash2005FM10', strtrim(month.name[i],3),
'$residual**2)',sep="")
}
Temp will give a string "sum(Wash2005FM10Jan$residual**2)". How can I
get R to evaluate this string?
Thank you.

clogit question
...s
to keep running forever. Why?
3. I think the equation for clogit looks like
P=1/(1+ exp(-1*(a+bx+cy+.....))
In this example, I think the spontaneous is x, induced is y. So, b is
the coefficient for spontaneous and c is coefficient for induced. Where
can I find a?
Thank you.
