Mess code when encryption
Hi everyone,
I have a question about using encryption in Gluster FS.
1.Created a file (file size is smaller than 1k) in the volume?s mount point.
2.Read the file, finally got a mess code.
I found that the content I got is from cache and no decryption is operated on the file content, so mess code returns.
If I set the following property to off, then everything is OK.

x86_64 package mess ?
Hi,
I just installed CentOS 5.4 on a 64bit-server. It's the first time I
work with this sort of hardware. Doing rpm -qa | sort | less shows that
most of the packages seem to be installed twice: once for i386
architecture, and then again for x86_64.
Is this normal? Or did I mess up something during install (thought I
wouldn't know what)?

I think I messed up DirectDraw.
...awlessly in Wine normally), which I know ran perfectly before. Now, it does run, but the screen is completely messed up with red squares and messed up graphics. Along with this come a bunch of fixme DirectDraw errors. I get the feeling that the Hype demo overwrote some DirectX stuff or just started messing with things in general. Oddly enough, Moonbase commander (windows XP)still works. Is there some way I can check if my copy of Wine is messed up, and if so, is there a way to fix it?
(using Latest version of Wine in Ubuntu 8.04, if needed)

Multiple extensions - same context
...don't want to mess up what is already
there, I just want to make sure that they are all able to dial each
other. I would assume that they would all have to be in the same contexts.
So, on that note, where would I look about information on putting all of
my users in a common context without messing up what I already have.
Do you follow? I hope so!

Oops! I forgot about that.
The LinWiz iptables wizards cannot help you, a
router/firewall/VPN application is too complicated for
them.

Corrent security mode settings to allow mess-windows XP behave!
I have a Linux samba server (CentOS 5.4, Samba 3.0.33) that is serving
two printers, anonymously, one read-only file share, anonymously, and
two username/password-protected writable shares. Right now, I have the
security mode set to 'share'. The printers and the read-only share are
handled right, but when I try to connect to one of the writable shared,

please help LVM totally messed up
Hi all
I accidentally deleted a LVM volume directly (rm /dev/System/newcpanel) and
now my LVM's are all messed up.
I have a snapshot from one of the other LVM's, as follows lvcreate -s -n
newcpanel /dev/System/wiseguy -L10G
But, instead of running lvremove /dev/System/newcpanel I ran rm
/dev/System/newcpanel ( I don't know why)
So, now I have waisted space on my server, and I

SIP + NAT = horrible mess
Hi Guys,
After days of fiddling, I can't really get my SIP device to work
communicate with Asterisk behind NAT. Sometimes the STUN server is
flaky, sometimes the device isn't reachable if the connection is dropped
and then put back on, sometimes it registers OK, sometimes it doesn't, etc.
I've come to the same conclusion as the wiki: it's probably better to
avoid this

edit/environment bug??
I sent the query below out to 'cran at r-project.org'
which was probably not appropriate.
I seem to have run into some weird behavior concerning the latest
Windows version 2.3.0 of R.
It does not happen in 2.2.1.
I have reduced it to a very simple exersise and I attach the workspace
after things are messed up.
That workspace is no longer readable by R 2.2.1.

CDR messed up when using queue
Hello list,
I'm using an IVR where the caller chooses between 1. sales 2. support.
When choosing 1 the caller is directed to the sales-queue when choosing
2 the caller is directed to the support-queue.
Then the caller is directed to a free agent.
I notice in the CDR-rapports that the destination is always '1' or '2',
namely the DTMF-digit that the caller presses.
How can I
