I am running v2.2.8a running between Linux RedHat 7.2 and Windows 2000. When I copy and paste a unique file name from win to Linux I get the error: Would you like to replace the existing file. Why am I getting the error when the file doesn't exist. PS I have little experience with Samba. Thanks, Simon

I would also check where the "... is not portable!" messaage is generated. If it's done by the configure script, you can look at the test to give you a hint as to why this message was generated. New related issue. I upgraded the Domain Controller from 4.8.2 to 4.18.9 about 90 days ago, and set the 'Maximum password age' to 90 days. Today, two of the users' passwords were expired when they tried to log in this morning. I have an asterisk with a TE110P configured as T1 which is behind a PSTN gateway. This gateway has an E1 to PSTN and a T1 to asterisk. This T1 is configured as Network and * as CPE.
