Authenticating Against Other Services
I've successfully authenticated my Meraki device against Samba by
creating a 2048 bit RSA key and self signed certificate. Thanks Rowland.
The next application I'm attempting is failing. I'm working with the
vendor to troubleshoot that issue. I will post back to the list if we
still can't figure it out. I would like to authenti...

Authenticating Against Other Services
Hello,
I use several applications that allow for authenticating against a
Microsoft ADDC natively. Can someone point me in a direction on where to
start? I'm using Samba 4.2.0 on Ubuntu 12.04. I think these are the
steps I need to take but would like confirmation before attempting. Thanks.
Step 1 Method 2: Connecting to AD via Kerberos :

Turn of -O2 during package build
Hello,
I'm using a Makevars.in file and running my code through gdb. I
understand i should turn of -O2, but R's makeconf overrides my
settings
/ln/meraki/custom/lib64/R/etc/Makeconf:112: warning: overriding
commands for target `.cc.o'
in Makevars.in
.cc.o:
g++ -g ${PKG_CXXFLAGS} ${PKG_LIBS} ${RINC} ${RLIB} -c $< -o $@
Thank you
S.

Some switch hardware can generate the packets directly, negating the need
for a box on every VLAN. Meraki hardware can do it, but you have to go
through the dashboard so automating it isn't currently possible.
Here is some documentation on forwarding WoL on catalyst 3750 switches from
Cisco:

DNS frustration
...rked for a few
hours! Then all of a sudden, stopped working with the above errors
littering my named.log again.
* So finally, I give up on windows clients using kerberos to update the DNS
server. I'll tackle this by having dhcp update dns, right? OK, first off,
I have dhcp served off of our Meraki MX60 security appliance. I like the
easy management interface, but hell, I'm certainly not married to it.
Mainly I like it because when dhcp goes down, all hell breaks loose, so I
like to keep that off of the same server that everything else is on. So,
ok, I disable dhcp on the meraki and ins...

Ubiquiti Model UAP-AC-PRO
...e access points, and, for this many over a network
of our physical size it is absolutely necessary.? And these APs have
proven solid; last year for the solar eclipse we provided WiFi on two
separate systems for over 1,300 people, and both systems held the load
(public WiFi was on a loaned Cisco Meraki system, while staff,
volunteer, and VIP WiFi was on the Ubiquiti.? Those UAP-AC-HD access
points are killer good!).
I rebuilt from source the RPM packages linked in the message on the
Ubiquiti forum at

Return a list from a .Call but segfaults
Hello,
I call a function via .Call passing to it a raw vector(D) and an
integer(I)
The vector is a series K1,KData1, V1,VData1, K2, KData2, ...
where the integer K1 is the length of Data1 and similarly for Ki (wrt
Datai)(similarly for V*) There 2*I such pairs( (Ki,KDatai), (Vi,VDatai))
The numbers Ki(and Vi) are written in network order.
I am returning a list of I elements each element a

Ubiquiti Model UAP-AC-PRO
Everyone,
Have any of you installed ubiguiti wireless routers on your network?
It looks like the setup requires the use of software; they have some
packages that are ready made for Ubuntu and Debian, but not RedHat
https://www.ubnt.com/download/unifi/unifi-ap-ac-pro
Have any of you tried or succeeded in installation this on Centos 7.4?
