Asterisk X100P - Interrupt a call?
So, We want to be able to put a fax machine on the line port of the
X100P in our asterisk server. We however also want to use this card for
911 calling. We need some sort of mechanisim to "disable" the line out
port on the x100p by software to "interrupt a call" on the line.
Anyone done anything like this?

this. Please suggest.
I would typically do this kind of task in a database and use SQL to push the
data around. I know RODBC allows you to write SQL to query external DBs. Is
there any mechanisim that allows you to write SQL queies against datasets

I could do something like
set <- cbind(fid,pti,finc)
select fid, sum(pti)
from set
group by fid
that would be handy!

netlogon scripts for machines / groups - possible?
Hello,
I use Samba 3 as a PDC.
When a user logs in, a user-specific script is executed for him/her, as
stated in smb.conf:
logon script = %U.bat
This is handy when it comes to do some minor tweaks, but can become pain
when one have to do bigger changes.
Is it possible to execute also a "machine script" (for installing
software etc.), and "group script" (users belonging

Fwd: calculating dissimilarity index of islands (vegan and betapart)
..., the dissimilarity index needs to be generated per
island,
and it is difficult for islands to find continuous landmass nearby.
I would like ask if the calculation of dissimilarity index using metaMDS
and beta.pair in continents can work as well as in islands.
If so, please kindly advice how the mechanisim behind the code generates
the dissimilarity index for island.
(Does it compare species presence/absence between a pair of island?
Should the two islands be specifically located or close to each other?)
Thank you
Elaine

Samba AD Auth Stops After Patches
...the big things I see is that I can access AD from the Samaba server and
query, however, whatever is supposed to
be resolving the group names on the shares is not working. I am left to
assume that this is the cause for the auth
prompts on windows explorer on the windows client PCs as well. But what
mechanisim is it?
Thanks,
Casey

I would ask everyone for voting in Debian! Let me explain why.
