KINGSTON SOHO Hub
I just ran into a completely unexpected problem. It appears that the Kingston SOHO Hubs don't do TCP. They do NETBEUI very well. After 4 hours of troubleshooting I went home and got my cheap Bay Networks 8 port hub and everything worked. This is to hopefully prevent others from running into the same problem. Nothing on Kingstons site mentions no TCP support but swapping only the hub worked

Cisco 7960 & v7.4
I have recently upgraded my firmware from v6.3 to v7.4. Now when the phone is booted or rebooted, the initial screen "Initializing Vlan" takes forever to initialize before it initializes IP. Inexpensive Layer 3 Switch?
Any recommendations on an economical layer 3 switch? Preferably something that you have hands on experience with connecting to IP phones with attached PCs? Specifically I need the ability to set the VLAN in the phone to tag voice packets and to set a native VLAN on a per port basis on the switch to put the untagged packets from the attached PC into a separate VLAN. POE is not a requirement

HA Xen on 2 servers!! No NFS, special hardware, DRBD or iSCSI...
...But I think it should work. Check it out: * Get 2 computers with 2 NICs * Install your favorite Linux distro on each * Partition the drive into 4 partitions. Two are Dom0 OS and swap, two unformatted. * Connect the intra-node NICs with a crossover/switch/hub (Didja know that gigabit NICs are auto-MDIX?
