...with using it. I've decided to change my tune on that this year and get more familiar with hit. I've always recognized it to be a good thing. Even if I didn't really have a clue about it. Repeated measures 2-way anova -- robustness question
...of the drug blocks was actually just 3 dogs, because one dropped out. One critic has also claimed that the population variance of cholesterol levels in these dogs is so wide as to cast suspicion on estimates based on the sample variance in these small blocks. Are there any repeated-measure ANOVA mavins who could suggest whether the approach is sufficiently robust to violations of assumptions to preserve the validity of those impressivly low p-values ? Any ETA on 5.4?
I can wait, I just have a project coming up and am planning. I remember seeing a post a couple of weeks back that RedHat 5.4 was released and at that time a couple of weeks was thrown out for Centos 5.4 being released. Are we still on schedule? Zimbra MTA and Contact package?
Does anyone have any feedback on the Zimbra MTA and Contact software? I just saw that Comcast is going to start using the software, I played with it over a year ago and dumped it. It seems to have been developed much further and works, open source and compiled for RedHat 4 Enterprise. Any feedback would be helpful... Thanks, john

Looking for an application to work with Centos
I'm looking for a application, and or ideas on how to .... Set up a web page that can be cataloged by search engines capturing all of the part numbers in a db. This page would be tied to a MySql or other Linux DB so that people can also do a basic on site part number search.. We have 150,000 different part numbers, we would like all 150,000 picked up by the different search engines.

centos5 iptables expert needed
Hello, I'm setting up a centos5 router for a friend. It will direct traffic to an internal webserver, already in place, as well as run squid proxy. It should do nat and have a firewall with iptables. I've set up routers before for this purpose but always of the bsd type and using their firewalls. I understand the concepts, nat, packet filtering, etc. but i'm not getting

SELinux permissions for apache
Hey Jeremy, > Have you tried changing the folder where it's writing into with these > lables? httpd_sys_content_rw_t or httpd_user_content_rw_t Adding 'rw' to the command did the trick. I tried httpd_sys_content_rw_t and that works fine! Thanks for the tip! Tim On Thu, Jan 22, 2015 at 1:19 PM, Jeremy Hoel <jthoel at gmail.com> wrote: > Have you tried changing

ClamAV help needed
ClamAV is installed on my CentOS box. I edited the conf file and assumed all is well. Clearly it isn't. Every day I see in logwatch that my signatures are updated, and the database notified, but if I try to scan a file manually it tells me that my signatures are 55 days old. I tried looking at a how-to, in the hope of identifying the problem, but it is hopelessly out of date, and I

The easiest answer is to edit the Selinux config file. By default it is set to enforce, which really locks it down. cd /etc/selinux edit the config file and change SELUNIX=enforcing to SELUNIX=permissive Save the file and restart httpd, you should be fine.. john plemons On 1/22/2015 1:36 PM, Tim Dunphy wrote: > Hey Jeremy, > > > >> Have you tried changing the folder where

Been working on fail2ban, and trying to make it work with plain Jane install of Centos 7 Machine is a HP running 2 Quad core Xeons, 16 gig or ram and 1 plus TB of disk space. Very generic and vanilla. Current available epel repo version is fail2ban-0.9.1 Looking at the log file, fail2ban starts and stops fine, there isn't output though showing any login attempts being restricted.

Best way to backup and entire machine??
I want to mirror a Centos box, not having done this before, I'm looking for guidance. What is the best way to perform this task, I have a running webserver, a single external IP address to the website, and wanted to protect myself should the server go down. My though would be a mirror of that webserver, running in background, if the main server dies, then just move the mirror in place,

Website running slow and Timing Out, but at random...
I have a site running the current version of Centos 4.2, it has a shopping cart running on it and runs slow and times out at random. The cart is a simple php package using a MySQL database backend. Can any one think of ways to improve the speed in MySQL and Apache, I've had the cart checked by the software vendor, it's working like it should, they are pointing to MySQL or Apache and
