z-index and dragging
...'higher'' point then it slides underneath it visually. I
have set the z-index to a very high number and that doesn''t seem to have
any effect. Are there other things I need to do (or don''t do) to make
this play nicely? This happens in both Firefox and IE.

EMA Package
Hi,
I'm currently using EMA package to make clustering and heatmaps.
The online doc concerning the package gives the following example code:
data(marty)
c<-clustering(marty, metric="pearson", method="ward")
clustering.plot(c, title="Hierarchical Clustering\nPearson-Ward")
which is working perfectly,
However, when I'm changing the method to method="kcentroids", on the exact
same example, I got the fol...

Is there any progress on this issue ?
I had to make some simple updates to get newhidups to compile on

anyone interested in getting these rolled into NUT and for a text
document on
how to configure nut/newhidups/Solaris 10 ?
Many regards

question about backup regimens
...s access to safe offsite storage. I was thinking of
system backups weekly and differential backups nightly but don't know
what software to recommend for the differential b/u's. For full
backups I can just schedule a tar and compress using cron.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Converting text into a javascript array
...et back my response is
it, of course, text and I''m not sure how best to convert it into a
javascript object. Is there some neat trick to this or do I need to
parse the string and create the array manually?
I appreciate any feedback or links to possible answers you might have.

Java with Scriptaculous
I know that the prototype library was paired with Rails but I''m curious
if anyone has used the ajax part (of the libraries) with java servlets?
If so could you please point me to some examples or documentation.

Too much recursion
...this never got it but now it does. My few
searches suggest it''s the browsers way of keeping infinite loops from
happening so it sets some arbitrary number of function calls you can
make(?). Can someone suggest how Firefox calculates this and how I can
get around it? Thanks!

Slider controls
Heya!
Thanks to Marty Haught, script.aculo.us (as of changeset 2281) now
sports
a new Control for horizontal and vertical sliders.
See the functional test file (test/functional/slider_test.html) for
information
on how to use it.
Basically, you do:

7960 SIP 7.2 keypress (not DTMF) problem
...hear the correct DTMF in the
handset, but the display shows 9303551212) It doesn't seem to be digit
specific, and can lose one or more digits when the problem happens.
Dialing very slow and deliberate seems to help, although I haven't done
super serious testing of that yet...
Any ideas?

Asterisk behind NAT Early Media Video
I just noticed, the calling device isn't even sending the early media video
stream. It just sends an early media audio stream. Is there propably a
change in the signaling needed?
(On another P2P SIP Server the early media video works.)

beginner - multiobject searches
Hi folks,
Bit confused by rails and the active record stuff for searching across
tables.
Say I have a property which has an address and I want to search to
provide a form that takes one item and searches across both the address
and property tables... how do I go about it?
Thanks in advance

Music on hold on timing sources
...dialplan to run MusicOnHold(), I do get the music upon
dialling that extension, but if I try to use the hold button on either a
7960 or X-Lite I get nothing. Is this the expected behavior? I figured
that if a timing source was needed that MusicOnHold() should not work,
but it does....
Thanks,

After the interesting revelations about the X2100 and it''s hot-swap abilities,
what are the abilities of the X2200-M2''s disk subsystem, and is ZFS going to
