Xen Store error : out of memory
...formated the virtual disks (zvols) and started copying the stuff over. Write access to the virtual disks seemed veeery slow (less than 1MB/s, the domU was in blocked state huge amounts of time). The hosts syslog didn''t have anything abnormal.

That's what I have now.

authentication on the OS side when the system's own mechanisms work
just fine. And as long as I haven't figured out, why wbinfo doesn't
return the id's I assigned to the users I'd rather not try to use
winbind for unix logins on that machine.

I would expect to see the same output from both commands.

...n, then it does.
In general I wouldn't care w hat mechanism is used to identify the
user... But as I see in the logfile that the user is
identified/authenticated via winbind:
[2018/06/20 14:28:15.299349, 5] ../source3/lib/username.c:159(Get_Pwnam_internals)
Get_Pwnam_internals did find user [markgrafb]!
[2018/06/20 14:28:15.299447, 3] ../source3/auth/auth.c:249(auth_check_ntlm_password)
check_ntlm_password: winbind authentication for user [markgrafb] succeeded
I don't quite understand why it fails to find the user a few step
later.

Do you agree that this is a valid smb.conf that should work:
[global]
security = ADS
encrypt passwords = yes
workgroup = MD-DZNE
realm = MAGDEBURG.DZNE.DS
log file = /opt/samba4/var/log/%m.log
log level = 1
idmap config *:backend = tdb
idmap config *:range = 3000-7999
idmap config MD-DZNE:backend = ad

parallel redundant ups systems and shutdown cmd handling
Hi,
while looking into adding instant commands to turn on/off the load,
reboot, shutdown etc I came across some questions:
- XUPS.mib isn't really clear whether turning off the load affects only
this single UPS one sends the command to or if it affects all UPS in
this system (in my case 2 UPS). Does anyone happen to know how
issuing a "load.off" would behave?

Powerware 9155 with SNMP card
Hi,
I got a shiny pair of new PowerWare 9155 UPS (3 input phaes, one output
phase), running parallel. Since I didn't want to install a Windows box
to run Powerwares software I now went nut(s) ;-)
So far things look pretty good, snmp-ups talks to both ups using the pw
mib. Though I get these messages, when I start the driver:
[ups2] nut_snmp_get: 1.3.6.1.4.1.534.1.4.4.1.3: Error in packet:
