Samba does not respect "winbind use default domain" - winbind only mailling list
...ain\myuser| against |myuser|. I found that if I put winbind separator = + in smb.conf only, it is taken care of properly. But it would be more intuitive if samba also honored the "winbind use default domain" like other services. I wonder if it is be worth while to create a separate mailling list for winbind. I find many questions on the web, but no useful answers in general. Regards, Ben Kim

[LLVMdev] A question, About how to reading the historical mailling-?
Hi anonymous, > I want to know this. Is this possible? Thanks I assume you mean you want to read the archives of the mailinglist? There is an "archives" link on top of each list info page, e.g. http://lists.cs.uiuc.edu/mailman/listinfo/llvmdev (similar for the other mailing list). Hope this helps, Matthijs -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was

Instrumental Variables Regression
Hi there, I hope to build a model Y ~ X1 + X2 + X3 + X4 with X1 has two instrumental variable A and B, and X2 has one instrumental variable A. I have searched the R site and mailling list, and known that the tsls() from sem package and ivreg() from AER package can deal with instrumental variable regression, however, I don't know how to formula the model. Any suggestion will be really appreciated. Thanks in advances! Regards, Jinsong

sendmail maillog rotation on centos 4
Hi, I'm trying to figure out which process is rotating my maillog every Sunday at 4:03 am. This happens on all of my centos 4 boxes. AFAICT, logrotate is not running. This is from a fairly minimal install, so I'm assuming this is a default process. --- [root at penguin ~]# ls -l /var/log/maill* -rw------- 1 root root 230603836 Sep 27 16:30 /var/log/maillog -rw------- 1 root

Depth-argument for sfq?
I''m not a programmer per se (including C), but... I''d like to be able to give the define in sch_sfq.c (of, say, 2.4.20), SFS_DEPTH other values than 128 as an argument on the tc commandline. It could be powers of two up to 2^7 (128) as it seems that 128 is the current maximum. I''m a little anxious to ask the question "How do I do that?" ;-) Instead

Is there anything already done somewhere, maybe some kind of a streched-down autocomplete field just for such purpose? If no, have anyone an idea how can I do that (as a not very knowledgeable in JavaScript)? Thanks for any help Janko
