Summary: it's a good package, but the wrong package for the location.
I downloaded the package from a different mirror, and the install proceeds
past it. However, now it stops at redhat-logos, with the same error
An interesting observation: I now have several copies of

CentOS6.6 installation failure
I have been installing CentOS for years using PXE, kickstart and NFS, but the
procedure fails with CentOS 6.6 for some reason.
A PXE-initiated, manual install goes through all the setup steps, and once
rpm installation has started, it dies after a few packages:

Indeed, Mozilla Corp. may be the best marketing partner that other Linux

I am new to CentOS. How do I set a rule to so that any email coming from @
linkedin.com (and other abused locations), going to an application RT (setup

Trimming the fat out of a Centos 4.4 Installation
Hi, just to avoid re-inventing the wheel, is there any document that
can help me reduce even further a "minimum" installation of Centos 4.4
(BTW can you say 600mb is minimum)?
I am in the process of creating a small Centos-4.4-based Asterisk box
and I need to boot it from a CF card. Deleting useless packages will
help me do what i want.
Example: even a minimum install of Centos 4.4 (or

minimal installation - kickstart error
Hi
I have inherited some kickstarts that attempt to remove some packages
that at some point its been deemed they are not required.
I am migrating all this over to cobbler but trying to get to the bottom
of this error that although the kickstart completes sshd cant start as
the package nss is not installed.
It fails with this

A samba or a mutt problem?
I have to briefly describe my situation before posing my problem. I
do almost all my work including reading e-mail with mutt on two unix
machines. For various reasons related to the fact that we are in the
tropics I have moved both machines to the university machine room. I
sit in front of a Pentium PC running Windows 95. I use telnet to
get to one unix machine and X Windows emulation to get to

How to create an OpenVZ OS Template for CentOS 7 Public QA
Greetings,
First start of by working on a physical system, virtual machine, or container that matches the OS Template you are wanting to build. I used my CentOS 7 Public QA OS OpenVZ container to build it.
You must of course have a working yum. Once we are beyond Public QA and there is stuff in /etc/yum.repos.d/ this won't be a problem. One thing to note is that the --enablerepo= must
