Summary: it's a good package, but the wrong package for the location.
I downloaded the package from a different mirror, and the install proceeds
past it. However, now it stops at redhat-logos, with the same error

Perhaps:
strace -o epiphany.trace -f epiphany
would shed some light on where it is picking up acroread? Perhaps if it
can't get its apps the gnome way, it falls back to some other, more
conventional unix way?
Have you checked /etc/mailcap and ~/.mailcap?

I am new to CentOS. How do I set a rule to so that any email coming from @

Trimming the fat out of a Centos 4.4 Installation
Hi, just to avoid re-inventing the wheel, is there any document that
can help me reduce even further a "minimum" installation of Centos 4.4

I am in the process of creating a small Centos-4.4-based Asterisk box
and I need to boot it from a CF card. Deleting useless packages will
help me do what i want.

[Bug 1762] Improve the documentation w.r.t. "the user's shell"

It's not a standard behavior: many programs use system(), e.g. mailcap.
However, their documentation doesn't say "the user's shell" in such a
case. So perhaps "the user's shell" implies the use of $SHELL if set.
This is still a bit confusing. For instance, ksh93 sets $SHELL to
/bin/sh if it is not already set (!!!), and this is definite...

[ wxruby-Bugs-9091 ] Listbook sample is broken on Linux
...tted By: Nobody (None)
Assigned to: Kevin Smith (qualitycode)
Summary: Listbook sample is broken on Linux
Initial Comment:
For some reason the ListBook sample (samples/listbook.rb) doesn''t display at all on Linux. No error message is thrown.
There is also a message about invalid entry in mailcap, but I think this is unrelated because the basic xrc sample works correctly. The latter seems to be an error in WxWidgets and Ubuntu, dealing with WxWidgets MIME system.

A samba or a mutt problem?
...indows emulation to get to the other.
I am sorting out various ways of reading e-mail attachments. I would like
for example to read a MS Word attachment on the PC in front of me. I
have set up the following:-
I was already running Samba on both unix machines.
I set up a tmp share on both.
In my mailcap for MS word, I put an entry for a script that basically
does nothing except type "Hit enter when finished:" and wait until you
do.
OK. I get to the attachment menu in mutt, select a MSWord attachemnt and
hit enter. It brings up the script. At this point point mutt has copied
the file to...

I am sorry, I couldn't understand the Mutt part. Does that mean you've
been using Mutt? :-)
How good is it?
