Any update on Belkin F6H350 UNV support?
This model is available in AU/NZ and can work as USB or serial. It uses the cutdown Bulldog software that comes with the cheaper serial based belkin models, and they don't officially support the USB mode under Linux. Anyone managed to get this working with NUT using either serial or USB? I'd really like to get the extra functionality of the NUT tools vs the very simple setup of the

Is kvm-clock dependant on hardware of Physical Server?
I've got a three Centos 5.5 KVM severs, but only one of them is presenting guests with the kvm-clock source. The two servers I'm not seeing kvm-clock on have Athlon x2 64bit processors. The other server with kvm-clock has a Phenom II X6 1090T Processor. I've checked the system configuration and all the boxes have the same set of RPM packages. To confirm that the issue was

Xen on Centos 5.5 vs 5.3 and stability issues
I've recently upgraded a Centos 5.3 machine to Centos 5.5. The hardware isn't HVM capabile so I'm only running para-virt guests. Using a vanilla i386 kernel boots without, but the newer kernel-xen locks up the Dom0 after a couple of minute. I'm only booting into single user mode for these tests so no VMs are active. *kernel-xen-2.6.18-128.1.10.el5 - no issues

Mapping partitions rather than disks into a Libvirt managed KVM guest
I'm trying to migrate some XEN based environments over to KVM and I'm having a couple of issues with how I'm currently managing the storage On my Xen Server I have a bunch of LVM based partitions that are mapped into the guests as partitions rather than disks For example /dev/VIrtVG/server-home maps to /dev/sda2 which is mounted as /home in the guest. Is there a simple way

Corrupted MAC on input errors on large SCP to a DomU
I have seen this occur a number of times when performing very large transfers from a desktop to/from a DomU Current configuration Dom0 - Debian 3.1 + Xen 2.0.7 DomU - RHEL4 U2 - TLS is still enabled. All networking is 100Mb Full duplex, and there are no network errors on any of the domain. Using plain vanilla bridge mode networking but using a random MAC address rather than a fixed MAC.

Xen and VMWare Server co-existing?
Not that VMWare have released VMWare Server as a free product i''m interested in using it where my hardware isn''t VT enabled to run non-linux environments. Ideally I''d like to run it on the Xen Dom0 environment so that I can run a mixture of Linux DomU and Windows VMWare instances. Any ideas if this is feasible, and which version of Xen I should be considering. At

Keep CentOS 5.5 from upgrading?
Thanks, I'm trying to keep CentOS 5.5 from upgrading to 5.6 because of my issue with the time sync. I thought I had it figured out till today. I have tried google for help but with no luck. Can someone point me to a page or link that will give me a good idea as to how to stop the upgrade but still allow me to update my 5.5 packages? This is what I tried, that is not working

CentOs 5.6 and Time Sync
Hi, I have upgraded my Dell C151 to the latest 5.6. I have always used ntp to sync this machine and then the rest of the machines in the network would sync from it. Since the update I cannot keep the right time on the machine. This is with / without ntp. I have attempted various scenario's with no luck. I am now trying the old kernel now as I type this out. If anyone else has any
