Disk failure chokes all the disks attached to the failing disk HBA
Dear All, It may be this not the correct mailing list, but I''m having a ZFS issue when a disk is failing. The system is a supermicro motherboard X8DTH-6F in a 4U chassis (SC847E1-R1400LPB) and an external SAS2 JBOD (SC847E16-RJBOD1). It makes a system with a total of 4 backplanes (2x SAS + 2x SAS2) each of them connected to a 4 different HBA (2x LSI 3081E-R (1068 chip) + 2x LSI

rcdk package, fingerprint without name?
...estion concerning the rcdk package: I generated a test sdf-file with 3 molecules in it and tried to perform clustering by fingerprints and plot the results in a dendogramm. This is what I did: mols <- load.molecules ("molecules.sdf") fp.list <- lapply (mols, get.fingerprint, 'maccs') fp.dist <- fp.sim.matrix (fp.list, method='tanimoto') fp.dist <- as.dist(1-fp.dist= clus.hier <- hclust (fp.dist, method='ward') plot (clus.hier, label=FALSE) When I did so, plot generated a dendogramm, but the "lines" were not labeled - so I could not se...

migration - quitting on error..
i am not sure if this is something new, or something i have not noticed before, but here''s the scoop.. i use textmate for development, and sometimes, i forget, and leave some of the textmate text in my file.. for example, i will leave "macc" after the last column insert.. just because i forget to remove it.. when i run a migration, it chokes on the nonsensical text.. at that point, i go in, fix the file, and re run my migration again, the tables and columns already exist.. at this point, i have to fiddle around to be able to r...

allow-query.
Hi, I am using nsd as my authority-only dns servers and find it fast, stable, reliable - all of the design goals you set out for, great. I have a zone that is intended only to be visible to people on my network. In bind I would enforce this with an 'allow-query' configuration directive. I checked the latest 'nsd-for-bind-users' document, and 'allow-query' is not

the effect of blocking on the size of confidence intervals - analysis using lme and lmer
...confidence intervals. My dataset comprises, a quantitative response variable, namely: "response", and three categorical eplanatory variables, namely: "method", "target", and "query". The method variable has 4 levels, namely: XXX.pg.trained, XXX.rpg.trained, MACCS, and FTREES. The target variable has 28 levels. The query variable has 84 levels. For every target three queries are selected. Thus "query" is nested in "target". The design is completely balanced. "response" "method" "target" "query" 0....

Access to cran.us.r-project.org
I am the maintainer of one of the CRAN mirrors in the U.S., cran.us.r-project.org. It appears that this site has been inaccessible since Friday. This has me puzzled because I can connect to the same machine through ssh and I can see that the http daemon (apache) is running. In fact I can make an http connection from this machine to this machine and from other machines on any of our subnets to
