problems with share permissions
Hi
I had a few test shares created and they were working fine. Users could
read or write depending on the windows group that was defined on the
share. I have since removed the test shares and created the file
structure needed and setup the smb.conf file with the share names. I
have also setup the groups and assigned them to the respective
directories. Problem is the users can connect to

problems with permissions
hi list,
environment:
Windows 2008 Domain
Centos 7 server running samba 4.4.4
Problem:
I am creating a number of samba shares on the Centos server to be used
on the Domain. Right now I have two major directories setup as shares
with minor directories being created.
How do I specify read/write permissions on the minor directories without
having to create a share for each directory? When I

Significance of the difference between two correlation coefficients
Hi,
based on the sample size I want to calculate whether to correlation
coefficients are significantly different or not. I know that as a first step
both coefficients
have to be converted to z values using fisher's z transformation. I have
done this already but I dont know how to further proceed from there.
unlike for correlation coefficients I know that the difference for z values

Question about aov
Hello R gurus,
I am a beginner with R. I am doing an ANCOVA analysis using 'aov,' and need some help understanding how 'aov' works. I have a dataset (taken from http://faculty.vassar.edu/lowry/ch17pt2.html) looking at hypnotic induction. The variable 'X' is a measure of how susceptible the subject is to being hypnotized, the variable 'Y' is how well the

Client behind firewall
Hey,
I have a Compaq T2000 UPS that I use to power my firewall, dmz, and two
internal machines and I've just started implementing UPS monitoring to
shut the systems down in the event of an outage instead of relying on
me, but I've run into a snag.
Reading the documentation, it seems the client has to contact the
server. The problem is I really don't want to open a port form the

Unexpected behavior in friedman.test and ks.test
I have to start by saying that I am new to R, so I might miss something crucial here. It seems to me that the results of friedman.test and ks.test are "wrong". Now, obviously, the first thing which crossed my mind was "it can't be, this is a package used by so many, someone should have observed", but I can't figure out what it might be.
Problem: let's start with

And the centos samba server is a domain member, so the Windows ACLs
will work.

Wilcox.test U values
I have been examining the Mann-Whitney test closely. And there are two
features of the R implementation that puzzles me. The test statistic is
reported as "W" and depends on the order of the arguments to the function.

smbclient fails to list directory >36 entries
Hi all,
I have a problem with smbclient from the samba-client-3.0.14a-2 package
supplied with Fedora Core 2. It hangs when listing any directory with
over 36 items in it on one particular Windows XP Professional box I'm
trying to back up. If I run smbclient -d 3, I get the following output
over and over when listing the directory:
received 36 entries (eos=0)

Problem with Apriori
Good morning
When I try to run an Apriori, I keep often the following message:

Other time it works fine on the same data. What can be the reason for this?

heimdal and mit incompatability when using GSSAPI
My college is kerberized, and so in many situations authentication is both faster and more secure using kerberos tickets. Sadly I have run into a problem.
The Heimdal included in FreeBSD seems to be incompatible with my school's servers running MIT kerberos when authenticating over gssapi.
For example ssh in verbose mode returns:

Hello,
We are looking for commercial solution SS7 with Asterisk.
It does not need to be "build-in" with Asterisk.
Could anybody suggest something?
Thank you in advance.

When can the dominator tree not contain a node for a basic block?
When looking into https://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=24866, I
discovered that the root cause of the crash is that I was expecting
every basic block to have a corresponding Node in the dominator tree.
Apparently, the "while.end" basic block in the example does not have a
Node in the Dominator Tree. Can anyone tell me if this is expected?
If so, under what circumstances?

Problems during connect to server and listing files
Hi, first time poster.
I am having trouble getting one of my servers to list all the files in
the directory. Consequently, it is failing to work with email when
users create new sub folders ( main problem).
background:
we have two servers

mail server
-new linux CentOS 5.9 system running as master that also serves as
