Any recomendations for Motherboards?
What socket AM2 motherboards out there work well with xen (i.e. support >
4G ram, sata and lan chipsets work).
I''m looking to probably run one of the lowpower Athlon 64 X2 4200''s in it.
I''d also like to see atleast 4 ram slots.
Anyone have any recomendations?
Thanks,
Doug

Zaptel, Line Impedence and Echo
...the ones I'm seeing - some
times).
So I'd love to use it and give it a go. Apparently, there are some
options that can be passed to the module to help set these values. The
output of modinfo -p wcfxs is:
debug int
robust int
_opermode int
opermode string
timingonly int
lowpower int
boostringer int
I'm in Australia, and I know that _opermode should be set to 3 and
opermode should be set to AUSTRALIA.
Can someone with more knowledge enlighten me as to how I might go about
doing this - or indeed if I need to? (If it helps, I'm running Fedora
Core 1)

I was having this happen quite frequently, but got the advise to
modprobe wcfxs lowpower=1
for the 4-port FXS card. And now rarely have these problems. Maybe
"lowpower=1" isn't necc.
any more, but it's my lucky rabbit's foot, and I'll keep sticking it in.

Power alarm on module 1, resetting!
I have looked though a lot of email on this issue, and no one seems to have
the answer.
How many people are seeing this on a TDM400 card?
Does anyone have a "REAL" answer to it.
Yes, I do have the power connected to it!

tdm 400p noise
Hi
I have had a TDM400p for a year now, recently I have been having
problems with 'static' noise completely drowning out a call ( inbound
only not on outbound calls)., has anyone else experience this and able
to offer a solution.
Also on inbound calls for the first 1/2 second or so I get a 'ray' gun
sound and a bit of static then the call settles down and is usable
any advice

Re: kind of Urgent (Fedora Core 3 & Asterisk)
...my configuration. They will install, but it looks
like ztcfg is autorun afterwards, and I get a complaint about the
/dev/zap/ctl device not being accessible. I ignore this message, and
continue to load the fxs driver, and this time no errors are reported.
so: modprobe wcfxo
modprobe wcfxs lowpower=1 ### necc. for my particular setup
ztcfg -v -v
Next, is the SELinux enhancements made to FC3. Whenever a library is
installed into /usr/lib (see zaptel, zapata, libpri), it gets the
security context of the directory it's placed in by default. So, the
libs get the wrong context, and they...

desparate for help DEV LITE KIT
Has anyone had any luck with the DEV LITE KIT?
I'm getting very erradic behavior.
I'll start it up and it will answer maybe one or two calls then hang
leaving
my phone in an off hook state or giving a loud shrill tone.
It keeps saying "Red Alarm". Once it hangs it will not answer the phone
again until I reboot.
Starting and stopping Asterisk or reloading the drivers does not

Major problems with TDM400 and specific telephones: suggestions?
...phone I've ever used! :) I do not know why this phone should
cause a problem with the TDM card when it does not cause a problem for
anything else.
What about this phone could be causing this problem? More importantly,
what can be done to correct this? I have loaded the driver with the
lowpower=1 parameter, the robust=1 parameter and even both at the same
time. This has had no effect. What else can I do? I have tried plugging
the GE cordless into each of the three FXS modules I have and I get
problems with each of them. I have also tried two radically different
systems: a Via EPI...
