add sessionInfo() option to "save"
...this is partly the idea behind Sweave (and other report generation
measures), and perhaps I am at fault for not keeping better track of these
types of things, but this seems like it would be useful to a lot of other
people besides just me.

adding environment variables

should download a copy of the KGML directory for their organism to
their local machine, and I want the package to know where those files

respecting original matrix dimensions
...atrix and supplying
the correct matrix dimensions based on the indexing, or using a
conditional to check if only one column/row is being taken out.

problem reading file containing bit vector
...w should i read this file? as.is/colclasses field in read function is not
helping me.
Is there any package that can do bitwise operation(and/or) on bitVectors.
bitops seems to do that but I need output in bitvector format only.

Busy Lamp Field SIP Phone
...ace them with anything. I put Polycom 501's in for everyone else and
they are wonderful.
Does the Cisco 7960 + 7914 work well for such an application? Keep in
mind it has to show free/busy status of 20 although I guess we could get
by with 14 if the 7960 + 7914 is a solid option. I'm in Louisville, KY
if anyone knows of a distributor or retailer that I could demo a unit
from.

Is there any function to read genbank flat files.
...in bioPython that convert the genebank sequence into fasta
sequence.
(One option is to call biopython from R but I am not familiar with python
functions so I want to avoid that and I am keeping it as last resort)

visualizing data flow and function calls
...the function within
some kind of wrapper function that would tell me what other functions
are being called.
I have tried searching for such a beast, but if it exists I cannot
seem to come up with the right search terms to find it.

Polycom 501 dialing problem
...ly 501. For some reason, if I pick up the hand set and
dial *8, it seems to ignore or drop the 8 digit. I've confirmed that
this happens with all of my 12 Polycom 501s. Does anyone know what would
cause this or how to fix it?

...seemed like a good idea, but in practice it is not. Unfortunately, I
cannot remember where the setting is changed, and thus it is stuck

Cisco 7914
I am looking into the possibility of buying a Cisco
7960 with a 7914 expansion module. I know a lot of
people are using the 7960, but I haven't read much
about the 7914 and I was wondering if anybody has used
this module with Asterisk?

heatmap.2 in gplots package
Hello all,
I am using the heatmap.2 function in the gplots package. I want to supress the reordering of the columns of the data matrix i pass to the function. I used the statement,
heatmap.2(z,Colv=FALSE,dendrogram="row",col=redgreen(75))
where z, is the matrix of data. The output i want should have the rows reordered along with the dendrogram and the columns should be in the original

7960 TFTP
Are there any known issues with Cisco 7960s and any particular TFTP
daemons? I cannot seem to get mine to speak to a Linux box, but
Solarwinds under Windows works like a charm.
