Including this causes the build to fail. 2) Attached are several files to patch some things to get the bigdemo working (better): Added a generic typemap for converting ruby arrays into point arrays. Added a typedef for wxDash Corrected/expanded the typemap for GetTextExtent Added GetMultiLineTextExtent prototype (there are some others missing I

Help implementing a 43things-like ''activity'' measurement
...[5/(x-4)]^2, where y is the score and x is the number of weeks ago from today. My question, then, is how best to implement this. I could, of course, loop through every client, retrieve all of their jobs from the last X months, run the equation on each of them and then sum that, but that is a whole lotta database calls. Is there a way to do this with eager loading or something database-side? Or is there an altogether simpler way to achieve the same results? I''m deploying in on a Linux machine I control, so I can use any database I please so long as its free. My schema consists of a Client...

Multivariate binary response analysis
...chemicals (a MANOVA-type analysis). Interest is focused on where response(s) are occurring, any associations among responses, and ultimately on possible biological mechanisms (the fish are tested for behavioral activity prior to this assay, and then ground up to provide RNA for microarray assays. A-lotta-data!). What I *wish* I could do is something like glm(response.matrix ~ treat/vial, family=binomial(logit), data=zf.dat) but I know this can't be done. I came across the baymvb (Bayesian analysis of multivariate binary data) package in the R contributed packages archives, but it is no longer...

GSSAPI and virtual Users?
Hi, is there a possibility to map login-names to allowed Kerberos-Principals? At the moment GSSAPI-authentication seems to work only if loginname and kerberos-principal are the same, or am I missing something? It would be really great to use GSSAPI-auth with virtual users. Thanks a lot! S. Thias

Another is to setup a small RAID 1 on the
