Possible to push changes to nodes?
Dear readers,
When I have made a change to a template, class or file, is it then possible
to push this change to the node(s), so they get the changes now?
I would like to be able to push the change from the master, and not have to
login to each node and pull.
Is that possible?
Hugs,
Sandra

Dear All,
I am trying to build a program which will take repeated samples without
replacement from a population of values. The interesting catch is that I
would like the sample values to be removed from the population, after each
sample is taken.
For example:
pop<-c(1,5,14,7,9,12,18,19,65,54)
sample(pop, 2) = lets say, (5,54)
## This is where I would like values (5, 54) to be removed from

Is there a test for setting the session ID to the fb_sig_session_key param?
Hey all,
I have a patch that fixes a problem I am having with IFramed pages in
rails 2.0. I am relying on the session being retrieved via
fb_sig_session_key. I am looking for the test code that tests this
functionality but I can''t seem to find it.
So you on the list today Chad, gotta pointer for me?
Thanks, I want to get a test in for this fix,
Dave

Is there any way to stop a resilver?
Is there any way to stop a resilver?
We gotta stop this thing - at minimum, completion time is 300,000 hours, and
maximum is in the millions.
Raidz2 array, so it has the redundancy, we just need to get data off.

CentOS-7-x86_64-dvd-2009.iso is too big for DVD blanks
I need help from someone experienced with the CentOS bug tracking

SIP Express Router & Asterisk
Greetings...
We've been having some interoperability issues between Asterisk and an
AudioCodes Mediant 2000, and, well, I gotta use the Mediant 2000
somewhere. So, I've been pondering using iptel.org's SIP server (SIP
Express Router) as a "front end" for PSTN calls going out to the Mediant,
while using Asterisk for everything else.
Has anyone done something similar, or anything at all involving SER an...

MCI vs. XO/Allegiance
Hello All,
Anyone out there using ISDN PRI from either MCI or XO/Allegiance?
Gotta make the choice today and the difference per month is only about
$25 in favor of MCI.
Billing is pretty much the same between the two so I have pretty much no
point of reference on which to choose.
Any thoughts from anyone experienced with these two compnies would be
greatly appreciated!

Programatically giving these applications a GUI face-lift, while

will much appreciated.
Thanks,

Connections automatically timeout?
Hi --
Recently set up OpenSSH on a number of machines that I'd been using
ssh2 on (illegally, it turns out... gotta read the small print!).
OpenSSH is working great except for one small thing.
If I leave an openssh connection untouched for a few hours, it seems to
automatically disconnect. I don't see this behaviour with ssh.com
ssh, either v1 or v2.
I have Keep-Alive set to 'no' for both openssh...

create channel of type Zap. Everyone is busy/congested
at this time
- When I plug the x100p to the phone jack, the dial

How to use different mocking frameworks?
Hi,
I''m pretty new to Rspec, so hope someone can help me out with this.
I''m leveraging a couple pre-existing applications in my current
project, both have fairly robust test suites in Rspec already.
However, one is using Rspec''s builit in mocking, and the other is
using mocha.
If I set config.mock_with mocha in spec_helper.rb, then all of the
rspec mocks fail. If I

Samba+MySQL+Apache Authentication = possible?
Good evening,
I don't know if this is the right place to ask... but I gotta start
somewhere..
I have Samba setup as a PDC for my domain using the MySQL passdb backend for
authentication. I would also like to use other components such as
mod_auth_mysql for apache authentication.
Is there a way that it can use one of the 2 password fields from the samba
MySQL table (nt...

recent ruby packages?
Does anyone know of a repository that's *trustworthy* (gotta worry 'bout
malware) with newer ruby rpm's than RHEL has?
OT: the more I deal with ruby, the less I like it. Someone here was ready
to move to a newer version, and from the ruby.org website, they're
apparently actively hostile to all RH-related distros, even though we're
the most c...

Nasty Fail2Ban update for Centos 7
...Just noticed that Fail2Ban have generated a 6MB error log because
of the update, and FirewallD a 1MB log of errors !
(not sure if any of those were really working after this)
ok, I'll just run yum downgrade fail2ban I thought.
Naa, no way back - Epel doesn't have a fallback option !
Then gotta dig into Koji, to find the old version, download it,
and downgrade to that - and pew, everything is back to normal.
The old one seems to be version 0.9.7 and the new one is 0.10.4
I haven't had time to look into Fail2Bans info about these 2 version,
but since there is a major version change -...

How do I...
...le of html files, comprising chapters of a book, with a single
html file that serves as a table of contents to the group, how would I
turn the entire book into a single PDF?
I can't think of a way to do that, all I can come up with would result
in a pile of PDFs, one per html. But there's gotta be a better way.
Suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance!
(doing this on Linux, of course, which makes it slightly on topic.)

Gotta love git. git blame has me thinking it's leftovers from

It sure looks like it's needed.
